May Cottage is in an ideal location to get to the beach and the parking being right outside is really helpful.
The cottage itself is very dark downstairs and cold and the electric heaters do not provide enough heat. The sofa in the front room is really uncomfortable so we ended up spending most of our time upstairs. The cottage is stocked with all of the necessities and we did not need to get any other household items. It was a lovely touch to have scones and milk in the fridge which was not expected! The kitchen has a washer/dryer and a dishwasher which is really handy as who wants to be washing up on holiday! The bedrooms were decorated well however had damp in them which you could see on the ceiling and smell which was not nice at all. The bathroom was lovely and was the warmest room in the house as the little radiator in there came on at times. The garden outside was large and has two areas to sit out on. The furniture on the second level has seen better days and we were constantly having to hit away wasps which we think were coming from the garden next door. It would be good to put up a catcher outside. Overall our holiday was wonderful but we would not recommend nor stay at May cottage again. If you are a bit superstitious the cottage definitely has âthat feelingâ. We were also told by the house next door that the cottage is up for sale so not sure what will happen to everyoneâs booked holidays.

We have returned from our stay in Honey Cottage today.
We really enjoyed our stay however had a big problem with the cottage- the damp smell. When we arrived the damp smell hit us straight away. We opened all of the windows which seemed to help but it didnât go away at all. The cupboards in the kitchen were particularly pungent but the cupboard under the stairs was the worst! The smell was so strong that the crockery, cups and glasses even smelled of it. We have also returned home smelling of damp. There were a couple of other smaller issues like the bedding and towels not being there when we arrived and the kettle being black inside, but both of these were rectified quickly when we let John Bray know, who have an office nearby. The downstairs and back bedroom in the cottage are well decorated but the two remaining bedrooms need a lot of attention. We really liked the character of the cottage and if the smell was taken away we would definitely stay again, but as it is we definitely would not. I actually think it gave me a bad chest! I also think that it should be mentioned in the initial information (before booking) that the parking space is up a very steep incline from the cottage as this could present as a problem to many people. We fell in love with Port Isaac itself and will definitely be staying again but unfortunately not in Honey Cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Honeycrock.
Owners were welcoming, information provided about the local area, and we enjoyed lovely walks from the cottage door to the beach to have a fire in the evening. We stayed in August, and havenât been away in the summer before. Soon realised if you want to go to the beach you need to be prepared to get up early to drive down to get a parking space. The cottage was within walking distance (adult legs not child!) of Polly Joke and a little further, Crantock, and Bowgie Inn which is lovely for a pint overlooking the sea. As described in the listing, there is NO WI-FI which was absolutely perfect for us for a complete switch off this week. There are board games and books at the cottage. As described in the listing, the lane to get to the cottage is very rough and you need to be prepared for going at 5 mph down a bumpy lane. This did not bother us at all, but if you have a Lamborghini you might want to bear this in mind! All in all what a lovely place to stay and we would be back in a heartbeat! Have already recommended it to friends

We had an excellent stay at Trevarrow Coverack. We loved the natural feel of the village and the surrounding area. The beach was so convenient for the kids once we had learnt to navigate the rocks and set our watches for low tide.Trevarrow was a comfortable and convenient base to explore the Lizard & had enough space for all to enjoy. We especially enjoyed eating & drinking on the front overlooking the cove.A handy tip is to keep a look out for the fishing boats when they return to harbour to buy lobster crabs & fish - Incredible value and delicious as you can't get any fresher.Other highlights were eating at the New Yard Restaurant which delighted with superb food matched with excellent provenance & sustainable ethics, Dinner at The Bay Hotel where Sam Jones is a highly accomplished Chef and offers good value & of course Elizabeth's Cornish Pasties (about 10 doors down Elizabeth makes & sells pasties from her own home) which are a must!We found the housekeeper most helpful & responsive.Overall and excellent stay!

Little Trbah (oviously named after Trebah Gardens) was a wonderfull chalet in which to spend our first holiday in over two years.
We found it perfectly clean and very comfortable for our needs as 70+ holidaymakers. We did take our own none slip shower mat which was thankfully a good idea as I am not good on slippery wet surfaces. The mid break visit asking if we needed an extra clean down was a very good idea, though we did not need it. Leaving milk, scones, clotted cream and jam as a welcome was wonderfull, though as a diabetic I only had one scone, my dearly beloved better half devoured the rest with glee! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was the third time we had stayed at Atlantic Bays Hiliday Park in the last 14 years. Thank you for allowing us to have the use of your chalet this year. We would recommend it to all of our friends wishing to visit Kernow (Cornwall). We would verilly happily stay ther again in the future.
