What our customers are saying about our Coastal Cottages In Suffolk To Rent.

"We were honored to be the very first people to enjoy Flint Cottage as a holiday home. It was perfect. The location is spectacular - apart from the obvious sea views , Flint Cottage is at the heart of Southwold and everything we needed was at hand. We made very good and frequent use of the Two Magpies for coffee, cakes, bread, and their fantastic range of gluten free products. The Co-op is ideal for essentials and the greengrocer (next to the butchers) is great for fresh fruit and veg. We had dinner at the Harbour Inn following a successful crabbing session. Thanks Sally for suggesting crabbing - the kids absolutely loved it.We have been exceptionally lucky with the weather and haven't needed to venture far away from the beach closest to here. The children have swum every day. For our last evening here we're enjoying fresh sea bass from a fishmonger at the harbour. We left Southwold twice - once for a visit to Aldeburgh where the Italian ice cream is worth the ½ hour queuing. Last night we went to the Oysterage in Orford and enjoyed oyster, prawns, fish pie and other fresh fish.Ladies - beware Clare and Colleen, the clothes shop. It's full of temptation. We've been the first guests here, but we suspect that once news gets around that Flint Cottage is an amazing place to stay, we may have difficulty booking again!"

"This is second time we have stayed at this property. It is on a main road which may be a bit off putting, but it is not busy and did not cause concern. Location is excellent with a Tesco and Co-op opposite, within a few minutes there is a lovely park and children's play area which you can walk through to the sea, about 15/20 minutes. House has plenty of room and a lovely secure garden ideal for young children or dogs. There is also a nice outdoor eating area. The cottage was spotless and obviously well cared for, this is a lovely area and a very nice cottage. I think you are better off than right into Aldeburgh as no parking issues and not so busy would well recommend."

"What can we say, well we can only agree with all the other lovely comments. Everything was absolutely lovely, Teal House was beautiful in every way, Walberswick was special as always and the food, The Sole Bay Fish Co, The Anchor, The Bell and The Dolphin were all excellent. And just for good measure we had excellent weather too! The Walks from the garden were totally appreciated by our two spaniels, as were the walks on the amazing beach. I think we have managed to actually wear them out! A special thank you to Karen for such a lovely warm welcome and the bottle of wine to celebrate a certain number birthday! A big thank you!"

"It is always a pleasure to deal with the staff of Suffolk Secrets, they are charming, helpful and professional. I am already thinking about arranging a visit to one of your properties this coming December. Thanks to you all. One of the joys of visiting Aldeburgh is being able to buy fish from the beach, meat from Salter's, fresh herbs etc. from The Market-it is most unusual to find such excellent local produce in England, I usually have to travel abroad to encounter produce of a similar standard/price..."
