Really clean, very cosy (the heating worked amazingly) and lovely views. We saw some reviews about the noisy rail line, but this didn’t bother us in the slightest, there was barely any noise at all.

Very comfortable beds. Well appointed in every respect. One concern. The post at the bottom of the stairs is positioned in a way that makes you think you have reached the bottom of the stairs, when, in fact, there is another stair to go. This did cause the occasional mis-step when descending. Perhaps a yellow/black strip would highlight this bottom step. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

You have catered for and thought of everything. We loved having breakfast outside using the BBQ, the seating area was fab, the little table and chairs in the love hut, the walk around the lake all cut back... Truly a stunning place... We will be back
