About this property

A beautifully renovated barn, tucket up on a hill overlooking striking grounds and farmland. It is the ideal location from which to stop and unwind - perfectly situated for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, music lovers and those wishing to visit Suffolk’s “Sunrise” coast.

Located on the outskirts of the village of Peasenhall (famed for its roaming peacocks), Snow Hall Barn is set adjacent to the owner’s stunning 15th century farmhouse, accessed via a 300m long private drive from the road, set on 16 acres of private land and with unhindered views of the surrounding countryside.

The Barn offers spacious accommodation for four guests – with two double bedrooms and one bathroom on the ground floor and a large, comfortable, open-plan room above.

A perfect base from which to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a footpath behind the barn leading directly onto the Sibton Estate. Peasenhall & Sibton villages are only half a mile by road, offering a village pub, The White Horse, two butchers, a local store and an antiques shop.

A super quiet and peaceful location that is within easy reach of most of the lovely coastal spots. Great accommodation. We had a great time.

= Mostly good. Great position, quiet, relaxing, property has good solid infrastructure (central heating, shower etc) in an "old fashioned" style. = Some "white goods" showing their age, but work. = you need to like living with and using antique furniture, some of which is not very stable. (We had to ask for replacement dining chairs). = toilet very high (we needed to ask for a step for our feet!) = Shower excellent, but over bath, so you need some agility as no handrails. = I'm not sure the central heating would cope in colder weather, although there is "log type" fire upstairs. = Despite that an enjoyable relaxing stay, although probably overpriced.

What a great place to stay. Very peaceful, good pub down the road if you like good food!
