"<p><strong>This is THE place to go.</strong><br /> If you want to escape the rat race. Rolling hills and gentle mountains as a backdrop; farm animals a plenty; bubbling streams and rivers and lush meadows and emerald forests. Although the cottage is on the farm; you still feel you're in your own "bubble". The surrounding roads are not for the feint-hearted but the trade off is your views are worth the slow steep climbs and hair raising descents ! The pace of life is delightfully slow - ideal for recharging your batteries. I would recommend the goldmines; waterfall country and the lady of the lake lake (on a brighter day) - check the weather forecast and if you get a warm/hot day - Rhossili Bay is well worth the drive !</p> <p>Thank you for a lovely stay. Little "homely" touches were very welcome... and I can't thank you enough for being my knight in shining armour when my tyre burst ! You turned a crisis into a minor blemish in an instance. We had an amazing time. Thanks for the freedom to mix with the animals on the farm and explore. I have fallen in love with South Wales now !</p> "

Sarah and Jon have gone the extra mile to make the stay perfect, they had thought of everything. The gold mine was a great day out, make sure you do both tours. We walked up Pen y Fan and visted the tin mine and waterfall near Neath.</span>"

"We found all the resources, website, emails, very helpful. The owner of the property rang us a couple of days before to ask if we had any questions, which we found very touching. When we got to the cottage they were there to welcome us, and their lovely dogs. We were made to feel comfortable and relaxed. If we needed anything we only had to ask. Jim's knowledge about the area was a great help, tell us road with views that very magical. Our holiday was wonderful even though the weather was not brilliant it didn't stop us getting out and about. Thank you "

"Tan y Lan Fach is a beautiful cottage, minutes drive from Llansteffan and Carmarthen, yet away from it all, with a view of the river Towy through to the estuary and Llansteffan Castle in the distance. There's also the shelter of a warm cosy conservatory to take it all in. The cottage has all we needed, hot water all day for showers if you are hiking the trails nearby. The hosts are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable (ask about the local ales). We had a wonderful time here for one week, would visit again."

"Well located and very well equipped, the cottage provided all the space we needed for a family reunion. There was a lot to do within a very short drive, and then we would return 'home' and enjoy sitting on the terrace at the back of the cottage, with its stunning views, and mull over the day while the youngsters played on the swing and in the garden. Perfect. Great castles to visit - eg, Carreg Cennan, Dryslwyn, Dinefwr, Newton House (National Trust); The National Botanic Gardens of Wales"
