Guests say

Brynawel is a well-received cottage in South Wales, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and added luxuries such as a hot tub and log burner. Guests appreciate the rural charm, the property's seclusion, and the thoughtful welcome packs. While some minor issues with fridge size and maintenance were noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests eager to return.

Guests consistently report the property as spotlessly clean, with only one mention of needing to clean kitchen shelves. The high level of cleanliness contributes to the positive experiences.

The cottage's rural setting is appreciated for its tranquility and easy access to main routes, making it an ideal base for exploring. Some guests noted traffic noise, but it did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

The property is frequently described as comfortable, with cosy lounges, a log burner, and comfortable beds. The spaciousness and private garden add to the comfort level, although there was a minor issue with heating settings.

Facilities like the hot tub and garden are highly praised. However, several reviews mention issues with the fridge and freezer, suggesting room for improvement in kitchen appliances. The replacement of the fridge/freezer indicates responsiveness to feedback.

Guests are delighted by welcome packs, which add a personal touch to their stay. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such gestures, though appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Perfect for relaxation and getting away from it all for a few days. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Main road outside property was a bit noisy at times with large lorries passing regularly.

Has everything you need, hot tub and garden was great On a main road so you do hear a lot of noise - but this was not a bother to us. Thank you!

  • Lisa

Loved the log burner especially. Only thing we could 'complain ' about is not being able to change heating settings so was quite cold at night but even that I wouldn't mark down the property,we loved it.
