Snaptrip says

Stable Cottage receives high praise for its peaceful rural setting, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts, Paul and Janet. Guests consistently mention the comfort provided by the wood burner and the luxury of the hot tub. The property is dog-friendly, with a large paddock for exercise, and is situated close to dog-friendly beaches. While some find the location a bit too secluded, the majority relish the tranquillity and proximity to nature. The cottage is well-received for its cosy atmosphere and well-maintained facilities.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean and tidy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.

The location is praised for its quietness and proximity to dog-friendly beaches and nature, although a few guests find it too rural. The difficulty in finding the property and the bumpy access track are noted, but do not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.

The comfort of the cottage is frequently highlighted, with guests appreciating the cosy setting, the wood burner, and the hot tub. However, a few guests mention the beds being uncomfortable, which slightly affects the comfort score.

Facilities like the hot tub, wood burner, and the paddock for dogs are highly valued by guests. The maintenance of the cottage is well-regarded, although some guests mention minor issues such as potholes on the access track and a few maintenance concerns that were promptly addressed.

While many guests express gratitude for the thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival, as well as the helpfulness of the hosts, there are not enough reviews explicitly mentioning these gifts to guarantee their provision for future guests.

Perfectly located on the borders of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, this is an ideal beauty spot for touring a wonderful region of Wales. Its interior exudes charm from head-to-toe, with its high vaulted ceilings and delightful log burner resting in the inglenook of the living room. The lounge area boasts comfy seating and a flat screen TV with a full Sky package, whilst the country style kitchen rests adjacently, with a large dining table and fully fitted kitchen including cream coloured base units, a window above the sink overlooking the picturesque, Welsh countryside. The twin room boasts zip and link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements, they can be put together on request to form a king-size double. Next is the double room, similarly set up in a modern, stylish fashion, the tiled shower room is just along the corridor occupying a fabulous rainfall shower. Such a lovely conversion, comfortable and homely throughout. We arrived in snow, unusual for the area. This made access to the farm where the cottage is very challenging to say the least. However, the care and concern shown by Paul was excellent. He checked in on us when we'd arrived to make sure we had supplies, even providing us with milk as we had none. The hot tub was excellent and preheated on our request. The fire was set, ready for us to light. The owners had kindly changed the welcome bottle of fizz to a non alcoholic one on our request. An enduring memory will be enjoying the hot tub while it snowed on us! And also curling up by the fire with a good book. Great retreat and we'd definitely book again.

Log burner and hot tub was a super addition. Paul the owner was on hand if needed. Paul even lit the log burner so it was warm inside the cottage for our arrival. Gave some handy tips with directions which helped us to find the location. Stunning views from the dining table when eating breakfast. Will definitely visit again

The only things around you are sheep wildlife and countryside. The owners Paul and Janet are on hand if needed. Prosecco and chocolates on arrival. The added bonus are a hot tub and a log burner that can be lit before your arrival if needed. We will be back for a 3rd time xx
