"Our two week stay at the S5445 was memorable. The cottage exceeded our expectations and was just as described. From the greeting received from Dan the owner to the comfortable surroundings of the large garden. The cottage was well maintained and totally ready for our arrival and we had the opportunity to speak to Dan about the cottage, heating options if needed plus and local amenities. The cottage is about three miles from the nearest pubs and beaches and situated about half a mile from the nearest country road. This meant peace and quiet to relax and chill out. Our nearest neighbours in a cabin were beyond the tree line of the garden and we were not overlooked nor lacked any privacy during our stay at the PWLL. All options have been covered by Dan inside the cottage. The kitchen was well sourced with utensils and was roomy enough for myself, my wife and our spaniel Holly. There were two toilets, upstairs and downstairs which was a boon during the night saving a scramble on the stairs in the dark. Everything about the place was comfortable and provision of logs for the fire, barbeque coals etc were all provided. For young children garden games were located in the porch and would probably keep them well occupied in the garden. The wildlife outside was lovely to watch. We saw about ten species of birds daily flying around and feeding in the garden while buzzards circled above us. A hare, rabbits and possibly a polecat were spotted and the binoculars played a great part in seeing things close up. We would recommend the S5445 to everybody if you are into peace and tranquility and want to get away from it all. Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pembroke are only a short drive away if you fancy a diversion from the quiet of the cottage. Dan called in a couple of times to check if everything was alright with us and it was a pleasure having a chat with him. Our stay was blessed with very good weather and that put the cherry on the cake. Thanks Dan for a memorable stay at the S5445. As an after thought Holly loved the garden and was reluctant to go out."

"The owner's adjacent home looks rundown and the outside area around the house was unappealing. However, inside S78431 was perfectly comfortable. It was clean enough, although we had to scrub the oven before we could use it to remove layers of cooking fat. There were a lot of flies too inside which wasn't pleasant but a hazard of being in a farming region. The only other bug bear were the external lights on the two cottages which were on sensors and flicked on and off during the night. Sleeping in the front downstairs bedroom meant that the lights flashed on and off throughout the night. Owner Ray was perfectly pleasant but it was difficult to access him at times because he has broken his hip. However, he was kind enough to arrange a kettle replacement straight after we requested one as the one in the house was clogged with limescale. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless. We had a really nice time owners were very helpful and met any needs as my mum came with us and is disabled the equipment was very good so she got to enjoy her hollidayHowever, would suggest perhaps a TV in the disabled room as they usually need to spend more time in bed."

"The owner Dan is fabulous, he has really thought out what a holiday cottage should be. Everything was lovely. We were 3 generations and all catered for. He even put a large box of age specific toys ready for the 2 year old. The garden is beautifully kept, large and interesting. The woods on the doorstep a fab walk, the 2 year old learnt to pick and eat blackberries....and led the expedition! We booked him his first riding experience, a 10 minute session, he liked it so much he had a proper half hour lesson including trotting a couple of days later, this is less than a mile from the door! A very well run riding school at Marros. Comfy beds, clean house, nice décor, lots of hot water, no noise, outside or from house itself, fab heating system, kitchen appliances all work well and with ease, good bathroom, plenty of space to put ...."stuff." Everyone wants to return!!! Stephanie"
