Ysgubor Wen is a delightful and spacious period holiday cottage on the outskirts of Abersoch offering generous accommodation with views across the golf course to Cardigan Bay beyond. One of the historic properties in this coastal village, it was originally a mill and in 1854 was the birthplace of Bishop John Owen of St David's. It combines a traditional character feel with many modern touches and occupies a convenient location just 10 minutes' walk from the village and the lovely Blue Flag beach. The cottage has the luxury of a real log stove and full central heating making it ideal for a holiday at any time of the year.

The high quality cottage has a generous vaulted lounge boasting a wood burning stove, sofas and armchairs, flatscreen Smart TV with Freeview channels, Blu-ray player and window seats with views, and a dining area with oak table and chairs to seat eight. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge Belfast sink and a large gas range. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor - a double and one with full-size bunks - and a large bathroom with a bath with shower over, basin and WC. On the lower ground floor are a further two bedrooms, both with double beds, a cloakroom and a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and a shower. A crog loft on the upper floor offers further sleeping space via steep access to a single bedroom with limited headroom.

Ysgubor Wen is approached by a long driveway and has ample parking for cars and a boat. Covered boat or bike storage is also available. There is a lawned garden to the front of the cottage and a garden with slate to the rear. Guests can also enjoy a first floor sun patio, accessed from the lounge, with patio furniture and views towards Cardigan Bay.
