Venture downstairs to find three more well-appointed bedrooms, two being stylish doubles and the other being a twin room that is perfect for the kids or extra guests, with its own Smart TV. The ground floor is also home to the family bathroom, with a bath where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest after a day packed with walking or cycling, as well as a wet room with a spacious shower, where you can savour a revitalising rinse. Finishing off the ground floor is a utility, with a washing machine that is perfect for washing sandy clothes or wetsuits. The rear garden hosts a shed that is ideal for storing beach equipment, whilst also containing a patio and lawned area for you to unwind on as the designated chef grills up a tasty lunch on the handy barbecue. Embark on a short walk into the centre of Abersoch to find a selection of pubs, eateries and shops to visit, before enjoying a stroll along the River Soch, paddling or sailing in the waters of Abersoch Harbour and Main Beach, or enjoying a putting tournament at the local golf club. Venture south of Abersoch to find a well-stocked farm shop boasting local wares and produce, before relishing the sun and sand at Machroes Beach and treating yourself to an indulgent treat from the popular Tearooms at Mickey’s Boatyard. To the west of Abersoch is the delightful village of Llanengan, where you can spend some time exploring the Llanengan Hillfort where the remains of a lead mine can be found, stop for a bite to eat at The Sun Inn, or venture towards the coast to Hells Mouth Beach and the Llŷn Coastal Path. There is plenty more to see in this part of Wales, from the nearby settlements of Aberdaron and Pwllheli to the lovely settlements further afield, Trefor and Criccieth. For a blissful break amidst the sights of the Llŷn Peninsula, look no further than The Anchorage.

Located on the Llyn Peninsula in an area of Wales known for its breath-taking landscape and diverse hiking trails, Abersoch is a popular destination for visitors. An significant sailing race is conducted every summer in the settlement, which sits between two beautiful bays and is one of North Wales' most popular sailing spots. So good that we have already booked again for next year. This is a home away from home, thank you so much. One thing that would help with the weather that we've just had would be a tumble dryer. But regardless lovely.
