What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Lisa Pinder - Verified booking

Some of the equipment was broken on arrival - the hot tub, the fridge door seal, the fridge salad drawer shelf, corkscrew. The bbq was extremely dirty and not fit for purpose until we had given it a good scrub. The wheelie bin for rubbish was filthy with 4” of slime in the bottom that smelled disgusting, especially in the hot weather. For the price of the rental , a good supply of good quality toilet roll would not be amiss, we received 3 poor quality rolls. Lastly, laundry bags were not provided for the bedding and towels . The beds were extremely comfortable and the open plan lounge kitchen diner was very good for entertaining. The walk into Abersoch village would be a little testing for those less able, the road is quite narrow with some areas not having pavement. I can imagine it would be a bit daunting in the dark. We always used a vehicle to eliminate the risk.

The cottage has excellent views to the front towards the sea and has plenty of seating areas to take in this lovelly location. Its garden is very secure for dogs with lots of room for them to play. We visited in March and it was very quiet, but please note that there is a caravan park behind the rear fence and there is a polite notice to keep noise levels down after 10pm, that said the hot top is located in a private area of the garden next to an excellent summer house, which has a table tennis table (lots of spare balls) and a dart board (no darts, so bring your own). Inside the beds and sofas were of excellent quality and very comfy and the cottage was very warm and clean on arrival. The beach is a pleasant 15min walk away and is an excellent location for dog owners. We would definately stay again and highly recommend it.

We really loved our stay here. Had gorgeous weather and a gorgeous house with a view to stay in! Hot tub was such a lovely bonus too!! We had a power cut one night which the owners were very helpful with and came to sort the Wi-Fi when that wouldn’t reconnect afterwards. They also kept us informed about possible no water due to a leak down the road which actually didn’t affect us! The walk to the beach is down a very steep hill and walking back does get your muscles going but it literally takes no more than 10 minutes. The are no takeaways to the house but the town area was just a 15minute drive away. We did however manage to get an Asda delivery which was very helpful! Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come again!!

Lovely cottage upstairs but the downstairs is too cramped . The bedrooms are small and the kitchen is far too small for 8 people. We could only manage to seat 6 comfortably As the Stanley cooker seems complicated to use, the owners have added many extras , which is great and we couldn't have managed without them. However, it has resulted in very little workspace. There was a bottle of wine left for us but we would have preferred a basic welcome pack of milk, butter etc , which we have always been given in other properties. We felt the property was overpriced. On a more positive note the house was in a lovely position, with a 10 minute walk to the beach, the garden was well kept and the hot tub very clean.

It is a lovely property in a great location. There were seven of us, four adults and three children and we did not feel we were falling over each other, there was plenty of space. The oil fired cooker in the kitchen needs to be fully understood before cooking on it, and the knack seemed to be putting it on at least an hour before you need it. There are other ceramic hobs that can be used and an all singing Microwave, so you can manage the cooking of meals okay. Most of the TVs are Amazon Fire Stick packages so again, they take a bit of getting used to, but there are lots of TVs in the property. We had a lovely time and would definitely go back.
