The Old Dairy is a wonderful barn conversion in a peaceful location just down the lane from the square in the centre of the famous Peak District village of Hartington. It provides a range of spacious and luxurious holiday accommodation with a magnificent lounge, superb dining kitchen, four luxurious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a games room, lots of outdoor space and ample parking.
Hartington is set in glorious countryside with its village duck pond, great pubs, the local stores and famous cheese shop. Scenic walks go off in every direction; down into lovely Dovedale, across to magnificent Manifold Dale or over the ‘tops’ on the Midshire’s Way.
All Derbyshire’s other attractions – castles, caverns, cable cars, canals, steam trains, tram rides, wildlife sanctuaries, watersports, historic houses, craft centres and theme parks, including Alton Towers, - are all within a 20-minute drive.

Well equipped cottage and great location. A few cobwebs in the corner but nothing that would stop us visiting this cottage again.

Fabulous cottage in a great location! The cottage is large and beautifully decorated throughout. It was comfortable for 8 of us from two families, with enough bathrooms and plenty of space. Everything had been well thought out and was to a high standard. Location wise it was great, a 2-3 minute walk into the village, and most importantly to the Devonshire Arms! Plenty of great walks on the doorstep. We really couldn’t fault it and would love to return
