I love the peace and quiet. Didn’t like the battery air freshener noise as it kept walking me up and making me jump in the stillness. So I removed the battery. Only thing I struggled with was the amount of hot water for my shower as I have a lot of hair. But it wasn’t really a problem and I’m sure I could have remedied that if I could have been bothered. I love staying there for the quiet and solitude. May well be back, some day, if only to pat the horses. A quiet, solitary retreat.

There is just a low dry stone wall enclosing the garden but our dogs loved to hop over and play in the field beyond. Dove Dale is just a short drive away, it was definitely my favourite spot. We hope to the cottage very soon

Quiet and peaceful and wake up to a lovely view of the field and trees to the back of the cottage. Everything you need in the cottage and a working fan heater in the bathroom. There is a field for running the dogs safely just down the road which was great for us and our dogs loved it. We felt very comfortable in this location and the locals were very friendly and chatty. The owners were lovely too very accommodating and had some really good conversations with them. We will definitely go back again without a doubt.
