This is a really classy barn conversion in the heart of picturesque Monyash with its attractive mere, local tea rooms and friendly village pub all just a stone's throw from the cottage.

As you drive over the hills from Bakewell, the view of the village is one of the most wonderful in Derbyshire. Set in a fold of Peak District hills there are walks galore through incredible scenery - by the sparkling river down beautiful Lathkill Dale or in the total tranquillity of Water-cum-Jolly Dale.

A multitude of other holiday attractions are also within easy reach. Local to Monyash, how about pedalling along the High Peak Trail or visiting Hartington's famous cheese shop. Chatsworth House, Castleton's Caverns, Bolsover's Castle, Matlock's cable cars and even Alton Towers are other names to mention in your messages back home.
