    - Ms Drogan, September 2015
"A lovely cosy cottage ideal for exploring the Peak District."
    - Miss Gould, May 2016
"We particularly enjoyed driving through the private park on the way to Callow Cottage, with sheep and cows wandering around. With a fully fitted, clean kitchen, with all crockery and cutlery catered for, we felt well looked after. The WIFI access was great, the views from the cottage absolutely superb and the kids were overjoyed with sheep at the bottom of the garden. They were almost as happy when finding a swing attached to the large tree on the left of the garden gate in the 'sheep's' field. A fantastic 5 nights sleep was had by all, with clean sheets and duvets on very comfortable beds. This was followed each morning with a breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the garden. All in all - great break away, in a well looked after cottage, highly recommended and will (subject to availability) book again without hesitation."
    - Mr Woodworth, September 2016
"Lovely cottage in a suberb location, close to Ashbourne. Great walks from the back gate to dovedale and the famous stepping stones. A short stroll to the local pub serving home cooked food, it's popular so make sure you reserve a table. Enjoyed cosy nights in by the log fire, highly reccommend."
    - Mr Buck, December 2016
"No street lights so couldn't find cottage. Had to knock on a house door to ask. No name on door just no. Even in daylight wouldn't have found it. Phoned owners on 2 diff numbers and no answer. No contact numbers for nearest doctors etc."
    - Mr Bytyci, December 2016
"We booked this cottage for a short Busines trip and have no regrets .. The place was clean and the description matched the website .. The view was wonderful so the location . Will book again in the future ."
    - Mrs Bruce, March 2017
"It would have been useful to have recycling info so we knew what to put in the box and when to put it out."
    Mrs Clare Mardon, Enfield,
"The Cottage is in a really pretty village, with lovely views across the countryside. The moment we arrived we all felt relaxed, it is a real home from home. The location in Derbyshire has plenty of things to do in and around the local area. I think the thing we all enjoyed the most was lighting the fire in the evening. "
    Dr Rachel Fellowes, Skibbereen,
"Great location for exploring the Peak District. The cottage was wonderful, cosy and welcoming, and we LOVED the back garden and the little gate leading directly onto countryside walks. The local Oakley Arms did a super dinner, and Ashbourne was just down the road. Would love to come back."
    Mr Tim Gurney, Bedford,
"Callow Cottage is a lovely cottage in a wonderfully peaceful village. Cosy and with the most amazing views. The cottage has all you need for a great stay in beautiful surroundings. The kids could run and play up the hill behind the cottage without us worrying. Breakfast in the conservatory is a real joy."
Mrs Caroline Mooney, Solihull, West Midlands
"We loved Callow Cottage, it was a real home away from home. It was cosy, warm, clean and had everything we needed. The wood burning stove was fab. The surrounding area was beautiful and the village pub was lovely and cosy. The owner at Callow Cottage was warm and friendly and was very helpful when we needed help. We would definitely use again and recommend to family and friends."
Ms Clare Pirie, Hove, East Sussex
"A perfect size of cottage for us - comfortable without being plush. Best of all we were able to open the back gate and let the boys play on the hillside in sight of the house. I spent some of my childhood near by and we visited familiar, beautiful places, ate cream teas then came home to our cosy cottage!"
    Dr Nicky Hamilton, Ashtead, Surrey
"A lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Compact but has everything you need. Lovely garden - backing directly onto fields so loads of space for kids to play. Beautiful views. Love the wood burner and really decent wifi - kept the kids happy! Really convenient for Alton Towers. Local pub 5 minutes walk and serves good food. Our second Easter spent here and loved it. Would highly recommend for a quiet relaxed get away."
    Mrs Fenton, London,
"We were very happy with our holiday. We were returning to spend a week in a cottage where we had previously spent a long weekend. The area had a mixture of activities that suited us very well. The cottage was comfortable and in quiet, beautiful countryside. We would happily recommend the cottage and area to friends."
    Mr Kennedy, Retford, Nottinghamshire
"The owners were very pleasant and the next door neighbours had a well stocked bird table, which we watched for ages. Close to town, but in the country and the local pub was very good. Excellent base for National Trust property visiting."
    Mrs Evans, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
"The cottage is situated perfectly with beautiful views front and back yet close to Ashbourne and walking distance to a pub serving lovely food. The owners were friendly and helpful and the cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard."
