    The perfect base to explore the north east with sandy beaches, famous castles and boat trips all within easy reach.
    Situated close to both the harbour and the town centre, the property overlooks the harbour village in this popular, family friendly seaside town of Amble. S75656 is a comfortable base to explore all that Amble has to offer. This lovely terraced house is almost opposite the highly acclaimed ice cream parlour, and close to the now regenerated harbour, with a small seafood restaurant and pod style shops. The Sunday market is popular with both the locals and visitors. From the harbour you can take a puffin boat trip over to Coquet Island to see the rspb bird sanctuary.
    The village of Warkworth, with its hillside castle, selection of cafes and pubs and a couple of bespoke small shops, should not be missed. For the enthusiastic walkers, there is a 2 mile walk around the local area. A few miles further down the road will take you to Alnwick, with the Dukes castle, featured in Downton Abbey, and used as part of Hogwarts in Harry Potter. The Duchess’ water gardens with spectacular grand cascade, and the worlds largest treehouse restaurant are well worth a visit. Amble is set on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Heritage coastline with miles of golden beaches and unspoilt land, as well as plenty of cycle and footpaths. The property is ideally located for exploring the whole of this friendly county, with everything you need already on your doorstep. Days trips to the National Park or Hadrians Wall are easily accessible. Beach ½ mile. Shop 800 yards, pub 300 yards, restaurant 200 yards.

    "We enjoyed a great family weeks holiday. It’s a great holiday home, very comfortable and clean with a great enclosed garden for our dog. Lots of great extras in the house on arrival and the kids were delighted there was strong WiFi. The location is fab, the harbour area is lovely and the ice cream parlour magic. We had a busy week fishing from the pier, walking the amazing beaches and visits to Beamish Museum, Holy Island, Alnwick Castle. We are out in some great places both in Amble and elsewhere. It’s avgreat area and S75656 is a brilliant base. We will defo return."

    "Lives up to the hype! S75656 and Amble were very good to us, we felt like locals for the week :) The cottage was spotless, spacious and full of character with the qwerkie seaside decor. The location could be more perfect! Step out the door on to the clock tower square with a lovely little garden. A few steps the other way and you are on the harbour with amazing views, boutique shops and fantastic restaurants. The cottage itself is very well thought out with the best facilities for a comfortable, relaxing stay. There were so many places to go in the area from fantastic beaches, castles, historic sites and shopping. We were so happy we chose S75656 and Amble for our stay, our dog loved it too! We really hope to go back soon :)"

    "What a wonderful cottage. The owners have thought of absolutely everything and there were some really lovely touches - a welcome pack, fresh fruit and flowers on arrival. So kind and generous. It really is a well appointed place and the location is marvellous too. We had a lovely time, including Jarvis the cocker spaniel, and would thoroughly recommend a stay at S75656 to absolutely anyone."

    "Great holiday had by our cocker spaniel, and my 15 month old son. Granny and I enjoyed the relaxing garden space with excellent view of the harbour area and the ice cream shop across the road is yummy. well worth the long drive. will definitely be considering staying here again."

    "We enjoyed S75656 very much,it was a home from home as soon as we stepped through the door,very clean and tidy and all was as described in the booking info,great position in the town of Amble.The garden was dog friendly,but the back of the house backs onto the thoroughfare,and this mite not suite everyone,but was ok for us.I would highly recommend, thankyou."

    "Just lovely, mum and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great cottage, everything you need for the perfect break. Nice touches in the cottage made it very welcoming such as flowers and welcome basket. It was very quite and peaceful. Location was perfect for exploring and most place were within 45 minutes drive."

    "The cottage is in a brilliant location, right next to the harbour. There are plenty of places to eat within a very short distance and if you like ice cream, there is a palour about 30 meters away. The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious inside, my only small gripe is the shower is very small and could do with a shelf to hold your shampoo. Having said that I would highly recommend S75656 as a place to stay."

    "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at S75656 and highly recommend it as a base for exploring the Northumbrian coast. The location could not be better. It's in the heart of Amble, with the harbour right on the doorstep and plenty of shops, pubs, and a market. The cottage has a lovely seaside feel and even a small back garden, which was perfect for morning coffee in the sun. It's quiet, clean, and generally really well-equipped and comfortable."

    "This place is just perfect!! Everything you could need in a gorgeous centrally located cottage! Plenty of great places to eat and lots of interesting things to do within a short drive! I’d just like to add that the only thing that made me a little hesitant was the fact they allow dogs and as we are not dog owners (though massive dog lovers) were a little concerned it may not be of the same standard as non dog friendly accommodation, well how wrong was I!!! It’s spotless not the slightest doggy odour you honestly wouldn’t know dogs had holidays there! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again..... soon hopefully."
