"The whole appearance is shoddy and run down. Room by room these are our opinions: on arrival lots of the lights were not working, some of thesecwerecrectified the next day. Drive way, good parking, but over run with weeds, looks shabby. Lounge - seating for four as one of the chairs is unusable, mis match of furniture, settee damaged, looks to have been clawed by a cat.. As there were six of us two people had to sit on the floor!!!!! Tv ok. Kitchen diner. Cooker only two rings worked, cooker light didn't work, no idea what temperature cooker reached, not fit for purpose, it appears that the faults on the cooker were reported two years ago, we informed the owner and were left a message that an engineer would call. Dishwasher dirty and smelt. Washing machine ok, kitchen floor very poorly laid and wrinkled. Looks awful. Good sized fridge freezer. Units in poor condition. Dining area - six dining chairs and a table, table badly marked, chairs have been re covered very badly, nice crockery set. Patio doors lead out to decked area, decked area is very plain, and looks uncared for. some potted plants would improve the look. Mis matched garden furniture. The garden beyond is unusable as its overgrown by brambles and looks awful, an old washing line has been thrown into it. Shoddy laminate flooring in the dining area. A chair is placed to hide what might have been an old cat flap, the chair is dirty and ugly. Hallway- a leak in the ceiling was reported in Feb, however, the resultant damage to the plaster work had not been repaired. A cupboard in the lobby provides space for shoes, but doesn't close properly. Double bedroom, nice size with units, we found the bed to be very uncomfortable Twin bed room, not very nice, beds ok, curtains shabby and thin. Bunk beds, table lamp doesn't work, beds ok Bathroom nice but no anti slip mat provided. Towels provided were ok but a little thin. Decor throughout run down, furnishings all a mis match more like charity shop purchases. Such a shame as the house is in a good location and with some care could be an absolutely fabulous let. We found it depressing. Not one we would recommend or return to."

"Where do I start?! It started with the brilliant contact from the owners of the coach house who wished us a very happy stay. We arrived late on a Friday night, the instructions were clear for the key collection and we opened a garage door to see a huge double garage with room for 3 cars. As someone who loves cars, I am funny about where I park my vehicle, so this is excellent! It is also very safe and secure. We then opened a door onto a beautifully presented and cosy courtyard which was lovely. Upon entering the actual coach house, all I can say is wow wow wow, what a beautifully presented, luxurious 1 bedroomed apartment. Luxury really doesn't cover it, beautifully presented and beautifully clean throughout. The owners have thought about everything and had even left a bottle of cava, some biscuits and tea and coffee for our arrival. The flat is so warm, clean, and comes complete with smart TV, bluetooth speaker, free wifi and laundry facilities. The apartment is simply stunning, and is literally a 5 minute walk from the centre of Poole town. We have had a wonderful stay and will be sad to leave! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!"

"What a great house! We stayed a week in late March. We were a group of five adults on a family get-together and the house was perfect for us - warm and cosy, peaceful, and full of character. The house has a lovely 'feel' to it - welcoming and easy to relax in - and it is in a very nice quiet street in Poole Old Town. There was plenty of space for us, with a good sized living room and four very nice bedrooms, (three ensuite), and a well equipped kitchen. The garden was lovely and quiet. We did not find that much in Poole itself - but it is big enough to have an interesting High Street, a little museum, and a good shopping centre. But the house is only fifteen minutes walk from the railway station and there is lots to see in the surrounding area so we spent most days out from Poole, including trips to the Tank Museum, Monkey World, and Bournemouth Oceanarium. We had a great time, and we were very pleased we'd chosen Mary Tudor Cottage."

"Excellent accommodation provided by thoughtful hosts. Large fluffy towels - waste bins in bathroom and bedroom - comfortable settee - lots of hot water.....all these may sound trivial, but they contribute to a really relaxed stay. The extra freezer is a good idea, for those who don't want to cook!. Location quiet - within short drive of Waitrose ( and other supermarkets). Also near Waitrose a good Italian restaurant - Alghero. Short walk to a nearby Coop store ( small). Nearby pub failed to have food after 6pm on a Thursday evening, so don't rely on that. But the Indian takeaway opposite the pub did a good curry. Slightly out of the centre, so those without a car would have to rely on the buses. For those who are coming for birdwatching, use Upton Country Park. It was better than Arne! They have a weekly walk on Thursdays ( 10am - 12pm), with an RSPB guide. Lots of birds of sea and land."
