    • Cheryll - Verified booking

Beautiful property in a stunning location.

If you want peace, quiet and tranquility this is the place for you. We wanted for nothing, everything was thought of from the fresh farm eggs and Welsh cakes in the welcome pack, to the pint of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar and all the cleaning products you would ever need. They missed nothing, even a welcome pack for the dog! The property is clean and fresh, very comfy bed, sofa not so much. The small enclosed garden is lovely, although the wall is lower in some places than others, take care if you have an escape artist! We had a lovely week just relaxing and recharging those batteries, hot tub helped here too! There are things to see and do in the area just be mindful to relax and take time and care on the narrow roads. Well worth a visit, the surrounding countryside is stunning and quiet. We loved it.

Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone, barn is lovely and couldn’t fault anything.

Very clean and tidy on arrival, hot tub & log burner are amazing on the cold nights. Owners Lowri & Gwyn are brilliant should you need anything - we also got to meet Freddie (dog) the star of the show ! Very quiet in the local area, lots of wildlife and it gives you a real break from the world. Loads of great walks within 30-40mins drive of the barns - also your own private mountain behind the barns from which you can see for miles around once at the top… Dog friendly (we took our Labrador) we did read some reviews of the bigger barn not being secure for dogs due to the fence facing the road, during our stay the owners had this replaced with a more secure fence suitable for dogs. We will certainly be back !!

Our stay at Fiddlers Green was as wonderful as always!

We've been here several summers now, and it's a perfect place for us because we like peace and quiet, plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, and a lovely local village to walk around. The surrounding area is simply beautiful. Provided that you have a car, there are plenty of interesting villages and towns to enjoy, none of which are too far to reach. Having two toilets is a plus, as is having the separate dining room and the clavichord to enjoy. The wifi works perfectly throughout the 24 hour period too. The interior is authentically vintage, which we like, and the lounge very comfortable. We recommend the local Baron Restaurant for high quality, reasonably priced food.

      Great accommodation.

Would recommend the Stabl for a cute weekend get away. We can for our staymoon before we go St Lucia for our honeymoon. Lovely little welcome gifts when we arrived and even some for our dog Sully. The only thing we couldn’t find was a local shop so we’re having to drive 30 minutes out to a supermarket but feel when we were leaving we thought we saw a little local shop at the back of a cottage on the way, but not 100% sure. We use an app called Komoot for our walks and this didn’t pick any local, on the doorstep walks, however we did go to Lake Vryn which was lovely and a good day out and the following day we went back and walked to the waterfalls.

Stayed here with our two dogs and it was lovely!

Would recommend it to any couple who are looking for a getaway! We got very lucky with the weather but would come back any year round! Fantastic location and some great adventures near by. Log burner was great for the cold nights and the hot tub was incredible. Only downside and it is the only issue but doesn’t stop us from rating it 5 stars is the bed. It’s listed as king size but it’s two singles pushed together which you can feel if you tend to sleep towards the middle of the bed. Would still stay here again though! Thanks to the great owners also who don’t deviate from any detail and the welcome basket was a real nice touch!!
