Guests say

Byre is a charming and peaceful cottage set in a beautiful, secluded location near the South West Coast Path, ideal for walkers and those seeking tranquillity. Guests praise the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and warm welcome, with some mentioning thoughtful touches such as fresh eggs on arrival. While the cottage is clean and offers great value, a few minor maintenance issues and dated furnishings are noted. Access is via narrow country lanes, so a car is essential. The property is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the Cornish countryside and coastal walks.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy on arrival, though a few mentioned cobwebs in the bedroom. Overall, cleanliness is well maintained.

The location is praised for its beauty, seclusion, and proximity to the coast path, though the remote setting and narrow access roads require careful driving.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, but some noted that the sofa and bedroom furniture could benefit from updating.

The cottage is well equipped for self-catering and offers everything needed for a pleasant stay. Minor maintenance issues such as a loose towel rail and stiff doors were mentioned.

Guests appreciated the warm welcome and thoughtful touches like fresh eggs from the owners' hens, though such gifts cannot be guaranteed for every stay.

Well thought out property, in a gorgeous secluded location. Ideal for the coast path, and a lovely viewpoint overlooking Looe Island literally over the road and down the path. Everything you would need in the cottage, and a comfortable bed. Great welcome gift of fresh eggs from their hens on arrival as well.
