What our customers are saying about our Bank Holiday Cottages In Liskeard To Rent.
- Mrs Edgington, September 2016 - verified booking
"The bungalow was lovely - very clean and modern, with lots of space. The bathroom was newly refurbished too. We really enjoyed our stay and there was only one major problem. My friend slept in one of the single bedrooms (whilst I opted for the double!) and had to move the single bed away from the wall because the wall was damp and the bedclothes were getting wet. She also said that the outside wall of the other single bedroom seemed damp Also, the heater in the lounge didn't seem to be working, or the two bedside lamps in the double bedroom (unless we had done something not quite right) - but these were minor issues, as it wasn't that cold and I borrowed the lamp out of the lounge. Had it been colder and more people staying in the bungalow, there could have been an issue. Apart from the damp, which my friend wasn't happy about, the bungalow was really good value for money and I would book it again if I decided to go to that area of Cornwall."

"Had a lovely time. The cottage was well equipped and exceptionally clean & very well kept garden. Although warned about possibility of difficulty parking I actually always managed to get parked immediately outside. The village is lovely with best stocked farm shop around & 2 friendly pubs. Only difficulty I found was no 3G signal in house or garden & no wifi so made planning days out/routes a little difficult - had done some pre holiday searching but was relying on being able to do as went along. Like ard was lovely town & very handy train station for having days out without long drives. Overall had a lovely week."

"The downstairs bedrooms had a very musty smell, one of the single beds legs must have been broken for it to move around so much, no lightbulb in one of the lamps in double room, kitchen was nice but did lack some essential equipment, dining room had some floating shelves, 2 of the 3 were very loose, hence nothing on them and most of the pictures were at an angle! Cant fault much upstairs but overall needs updating decor wise, wouldnt stay here again and had to pay electric fee at the end of the week after paying alot of money 8n the first place! The one positive is it has a lovely view and was peaceful."

"An excellent cottage. The owner seems to have thought of everything and has supplied all the little extras that make life easier, especially when it comes to kitchen equipment. My friend fell in love with the village shop saying that they supplied the best Chelsea Buns he had ever had. The only issue was parking, but this had been pointed out very clearly in the description of the area and we were obviously just lucky, we managed to get into a space each time we returned. Would recommend a visit to St Cleers church. Most interesting.Overall, really couldn't fault the cottage or the area in any way."

"Loved this little cottage and so did our dogs! Well equipped, comfortable and clean. The owner had thought of everything. Garden is even Jack Russell proof. Ours did spend a week trying to find a way out, but never did. Great location for north and south locations.A lovely garden with great views. My daughter of 12 loved it, not so suitable for younger children due to stairs and garden. Fantastic farm shop, has everything you need. Local pub does a cracking cooked breakfast. A few miles from Liskeard A perfect base for adults and older children. Will come back another year. Thank you"
