While some minor issues with Wi-Fi and the absence of a pub within walking distance were noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests eager to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'very clean', 'lovely and clean', and 'perfectly clean'. This indicates a well-maintained property.

The location is described as quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxation and as a base for day trips. However, some guests noted the lack of nearby amenities and the need to drive to pubs and shops.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with the property described as 'comfy' and 'cozy'. However, there were a few comments about an uncomfortable bed and a 'springy' mattress, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are modern and well-equipped, but there were several mentions of Wi-Fi issues and a lack of a freezer/ice compartment. The absence of a washing machine was also noted.

Guests were pleased with the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts and essential items on arrival. It's important to note that such gestures are appreciated but may not be guaranteed for every stay.

It had everything we needed for a weeks holiday and provided an excellent base for exploring. The property was lovely and clean and very nicely laid out and suited us very well. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice holiday on Cornwall.

Bed was a little ‘springy’, and in the evenings the kitchen and bathroom floor were damp. Other than that great place and would stay again with the dog
