What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Liskeard To Rent.
- Mrs Edgington, September 2016 - verified booking
"The bungalow was lovely - very clean and modern, with lots of space. The bathroom was newly refurbished too. We really enjoyed our stay and there was only one major problem. My friend slept in one of the single bedrooms (whilst I opted for the double!) and had to move the single bed away from the wall because the wall was damp and the bedclothes were getting wet. She also said that the outside wall of the other single bedroom seemed damp Also, the heater in the lounge didn't seem to be working, or the two bedside lamps in the double bedroom (unless we had done something not quite right) - but these were minor issues, as it wasn't that cold and I borrowed the lamp out of the lounge. Had it been colder and more people staying in the bungalow, there could have been an issue. Apart from the damp, which my friend wasn't happy about, the bungalow was really good value for money and I would book it again if I decided to go to that area of Cornwall."

"We choose this destination for a change from are normal holiday accommodation in Cornwall . Our main reason for choosing the Manoach is that it was animal friendly, that meant we could take the family dog. Also we could that other members of the general public took their pets as well so every body was use to them. We also found Thetis small park easy to find with the directions given on the invoice. Local ammities were also very good with a pub and supermarkets close by as well as other local shops and take a way establishments. Overall the holiday was well up to our expectations and we would recommend this place to any persons who wish to take their pets on holiday with them. Also the booking and payment for the holiday on the internet was made very easy without any trouble from any quarter and was well presented."

"The Warren is a delightful, cosy, comfortable, clean hideaway, ideal for a romantic break for two. It's extremely well equipped (how nice to have matching china, fresh flowers....) and the owners are lovely, friendly, helpful and welcoming; and nearby if you need anything. The location on the edge of Bodmin Moor is idyllic ~ nearby Minions and Golitha Falls are great for walking and the cottage courtyard garden is ideal if you have dogs ~ enclosed and safe. Our only complaint was that we had to leave! We'd only gone for one week but wish we could have stayed two...there is so much to see and you are central for both northern and southern Cornwall. We will DEFINTELY be back :-)"

"The property was lovely & just what we had envisioned although slighty smaller than we imagined. The owners were very friendly & helpful & also put effort into the small details that make a holiday that much nicer. On arrival we were given a loaf of home made bread & other basics to get us started. The only negative was that although there was a pub &village within walking distance we had to do a lot of driving all week to reach the other places of interest & we would have with hindsight liked to be in a more lively area. Oct 2011. "

"Wonderful holiday. The nicest reception from Jackie and Barry - a delicious cream tea (gluten free so kindly catered for). The cottage provided everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beautiful garden is an added bonus. We felt that nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Jackie and Barry - although you could have arranged for better weather during the first week!"
