From the moment you arrive, the hush of nature wraps around you. A private parking space welcomes you at the edge of the lodge, and beyond the door lies a warm, open-plan living space where comfort and calm go hand in hand. Soft light spills across the sitting area, inviting you to sink into the sofa and let the outside world melt away. The kitchen, simple and well-equipped, is perfect for slow breakfasts and home-cooked suppers, while the dining table becomes a place for laughter, stories, and shared moments. Step outside into, where the morning sun dances on the stream and the air carries the scent of wild grass and distant sea. Here, you can sip coffee in silence, listen to the birdsong, or dine beneath the stars with the gentle murmur of water as your soundtrack. When night falls, retreat to one of two cosy double bedrooms, each a quiet cocoon of soft linens, warm lighting, and restful stillness. Wake to the sound of breeze in the trees and begin again, refreshed and unhurried. Beyond the lodge, the Cornish countryside unfolds in all its quiet beauty. Wander through the ancient woodlands of Golitha Falls, explore the hidden depths of Carnglaze Caverns, or lose yourself in the winding lanes of Polperro, where the sea meets the sky in a painter’s dream.

At the head of the Looe Valley in South East Cornwall sits the mediaeval market town of Liskeard. There are numerous stores, bars, and restaurants in the town. About 9 kilometres separate you from the beaches and harbour of the charming fishing port of Looe. The championship golf course at St. Mellion International Resort, the Donkey Sanctuary at St. Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT), and fishing at adjacent Siblyback Lake can be found in between. Visit the renowned Eden Project for a fantastic family day out. Even the port city of Plymouth, home to the National Maritime Museum, the amazing shops, theatres, and restaurants, is just a short car journey away.
