"What a beauty - what a stunner. Perfect peaceful location. Away from the hussle and bussle but only a quick car journey away from Tintagel Boscastle and Bude to name a few. Directions provided by Yvonne were spot on. The cottage was out of this world. Well equipped with everything we needed including dishwasher tablets, cream tea and fresh flowers. Literally everything had been thought of down to books, dvds, games and toys. The dolls house was a huge hit with our little one. Yvonne and Farmer Graham were very welcoming and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for more. We fed the ducks, tractor ride and Farmer Graham answered our many questions. Nothing was too much trouble. We quickly made friends with the very friendly Murphy and Pumpkin the farm dogs. Would highly recommend to anyone and hope to return soon"

"The Linhay is a converted barn, created about 20 years ago, with another similar one adjacent. The very friendly & helpful owners live next door, & nothing is any trouble for them. However, it is situated in a small hamlet about 3 miles from Launceston along narrow country lanes, which are not safe to walk or cycle along, especially for city dwellers. You MUST be prepared to drive to shops, restaurants & local facilities, the closest pub/restaurant is the excellent, fine dining, Rising Sun about 2-3 miles away. Having said this, there is plenty to see & do close by (4-8 miles), & fabulous countryside & coastline locations within easy reach. The Linhay comfortably sleeps 6, (but if a sofa bed was added in the lounge, 8 would be possible."

"It was a lovely house but too remote for us. Ease of access to all facilities on the site caused some mobility difficulties as was up hill and uneven terrain. Some of the property information was misleading as they no longer offered pony rides which our grandchildren were looking forward to.Unfortunately despite asking if the children could see the animals they did not get to do this. The fudge brownies and other welcome items were lovely.Strange to see white sofa coverings which are hard to keep clean considering it s a family property and pet friendly. We had to clean the bbq before we could use it. It was a little disappointing that the owner did not introduce herself to everyone in the party as the reviews said how lovely she was."

"The cottage was lovely and the pool was the icing on the cake Sarah the owner was very friendly and helpful her homemade brownies were gorgeous and a lovely personal touch. We were a party of 14 including 5 children under 4 and a dog and there was plenty of room for us all. Only thing we could think of as we stayed in November the lane to the swimming pool from the cottage was very dark after 5pm we had a torch with us but would benifit from little solar lights or a couple of big torches to use they do have sensor lights when get to the owners cottage where pool was and outside the pool and games room though. None of the children wanted to leave especially the pool and cats and horses we all had a fantastic holiday thank you "

"The location is brilliant, in a very pretty village, and the cottage basically good, but the trimmings need adjusting. There were no dishes to cook in, such as for stews or puddings, no matches or wood for the fire, and no welcome tray on arrival. In addition, there were spiders webs all over the cottage, and no spare toilet roll or light bulbs, so the housekeeping needs revision.Having said all that, the cottage has lovely spacious rooms and has been thoughtfully restored on the whole. The facilities in the village are lovely - the most amazing pasties from the village shop, and all sorts of other goodies too - and we would definitely go and stay in the village again."
