What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Dillon - Verified booking

Cottage was perfect. We took pictures of the mountains 10miles away but never thought we was situated in front of them. Amazing view and even got to see the USAF in action. If any negative the fairy lights around the hot tub cause a little light pollution when gazing but other than that the hot tub was amazing to. We spoke about coming back to the lakes but would anywhere else top the experience we had them 2 days. You made a birthday girl very happy thank you so much. We've recommended you.

This was a perfect stay. The views were absolutely amazing and it felt like we were in our own little world. The spacing between the next door pods/ shepards huts allowed for privacy. The hot tub was so clean we were so surprised to see the owners had cleaned it during the day when we were out. The shepards hut itself was spotless with an amazing comfy bed and plenty of equipment for us to make lovely breakfasts in the morning. My partner was very happy with this stay as a birthday present!

A beautiful little hut in the most gorgeous location. Everything in the surrounding area was easily accessible, and I would highly recommend paying a visit to Alpacaly Ever After. The place itself was very clean and the attention to detail was incredibly thoughtful, the scones left out upon arrival were delicious! The hot tub was also very clean and lovely to relax in and take in the views. The facilities all worked great, overall a five star experience and would definitely come back!

An amazing shepherds hut in an outstanding location. Really pretty inside, very good quality bedding/furnishings etc. lovely touch with the welcome pack of scones, cake, milk etc. unbelievably fantastic views of Skiddaw and Blencathra. We had superb weather and it was a lovely treat to sit out eating breakfast taking in the peaceful views not to mention relaxing in the hot tub on a sunny evening! A good distance from Keswick and nearby walks/pubs. Will definitely be returning!

    • Miss Bidwell - Verified booking

We both really enjoyed our hut where we stayed; Skiddaw. We did come with a 9 month old cocker spaniel puppy, and would suggest if you do the same a bigger space might be better! The location is lovely, a beautiful area. We felt limited to where we could walk the dog in the property so we ventured further afield quite early in the day. The hut was very clean and well supplied; though you need to take your own cloths, washing up liquid, etc. Overall, we had a great weekend!
