The Croft in Keswick is highly praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and additional touches like a hot tub and BBQ. Guests appreciate the property's modern decor, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful welcome gifts. Its proximity to the lake and Keswick, along with secure outdoor space, make it ideal for both families and pet owners. While minor suggestions for improvement are noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently report that The Croft is spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and made beds on arrival. Minor observations of cobwebs due to the high ceilings do not detract from the overall high standards of cleanliness.
The property's location is highly regarded, with its proximity to a lake and the town of Keswick. The private beach access and scenic views contribute to its appeal, although there is mention of construction nearby which may affect privacy temporarily.
The Croft is described as cosy, homey, and suitable for groups or large families. However, some guests found the single bed mattresses uncomfortable, which slightly impacts the comfort score.
The facilities, including a hot tub and BBQ, are well-maintained and clean. Guests enjoyed these amenities, though some noted the lack of locks on bathroom doors and suggested the addition of towelled robes and a full-length mirror.
The provision of welcome gifts like prosecco and items for pets demonstrates thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, guests should consider them a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

Go over the bridge at the top of the lake.

Follow the road to the T junction and turn right.
The park is approx. 400 yards on your left.
This most probably going to cause mayhem but thought to get the info off to you so that holiday clients are aware.

The Croft is great accommodation. It’s really big and spacious inside, hot tub was lovejy , very clean , had everything we needed . The Christmas tree was a nice suprise along with the milk and prosecco! Great location too, Keswick is about 10 mins drive and it’s only 5 mins in car to the start of skiddaw ! I will be returning to stay at the Croft .
