"This has to be one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in. The owners communication was great and they provided the most comprehensive property pack ever. Great work, thanks Nick. Even offered to have the fire lit for our arrival. These are the things you expect but very rarely get. other owners should take note.... the better the service you offer the better the overall experiance your guests have.it is located in a very quiet village but is not far from anywhere. Horning and Wroxham just a few minutes, Norwich 1/2 hour, Great Yarmouth about the same. The property is very spacious and welcoming and retains a really pleasant character. the garden room is a great space any time of day whilst the old lounge is very cosy when the log burner is fired up.we had a great stay and despite being out and busy every day, including an 8 hour shopping trip in Norwich we have returned home feeling relaxed. we hope to returning next year with our grandchildren to explore further.."

"The house is stunning with many beautiful period features and the location good (although the immediate surroundings not fantastic i.e. the car park/ cafe it overlooks and proximity to the road). However, we had a few issues with comfort which could be easily rectified for future visits. The towels were far too small (not bath size despite there only being baths available) and no soap was provided in any of the bathrooms which we would expect to be provided as well as other basics like bubble bath. The hot water also ran out too quickly. We had a large party and found it hard to all wash properly every day. Finally, the notes for the house mentioned a nearby pub (the Bell) which we walked to but turned out to no longer exist. Lastly, we booked the cot for our youngest but no sheets were provided. If we had known about these things in advance it would have made our visit much more pleasant."

"Flint cottage was just lovely and far better than we could of hoped for.It was so different being an upside down house with the lounge upstairs to take full advantage of the views. especially the stream that runs along side it with all the ducks and the goose on it . who by the way come to be fed about 4 times a day this made our stay. The cottage is a credit to its owners who where at the cottage when we arrived ,such a lovely couple. we have stayed in many cottages in Norfolk, as our son lives there and this was one of the best by far. With regards to one review about the parking there is no problem we have an Audi A3 and had no problem getting the car right up to the door.we would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. and people with children would love it as they can paddle in the stream with the little bridge over."

"This is a lovely spacious cottage with several different living spaces which allow people to watch TV, listen to music, read etc without disturbing others. The garden is beautiful and the cottage is very comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the garden room in the early morning and early evening. The location is very rural with narrow lanes, but once you work out the locality, it is easy to access all the attractions of Norfolk. There is no upstairs bathroom, which makes night time visits to the loo a bit daunting! My only minor quibble is that I would have liked more towels yes, I know that's not very green, but it would have added a bit of luxury.I would definitely visit again; many thanks to the owner for sharing his beautiful house and enabling us to enjoy a very tranquil holiday."

"Our group of 5 had a great holiday at Flint Cottage. It is very quaint and we just loved opening the stable door to see the 'creake' flowing. The kids loved the ducks and goose coming to be fed with left overs. The location is lovely and quiet in South Creake and ideal for exploring North Norfolk. We found that to get to all Holkham, Brancaster, Blakeney & Wells we went on the country roads and had no hold ups with traffic even though it was August School Holidays. Just be aware access to the cottage is down a narrow drive off a small road. We did manage this. Overall we would love to stay at Flint Cottage. The owner was very friendly and made me a cuppa whilst we settled in. Many thanks."
