An utterly wonderful cottage in the heart of the picturesque Peak District village of Litton with its great Red Lion pub.
Sitting snug in lovely Litton village is the beautiful Tallan Green cottage. Inside is spacious yet cosy, with a stunningly decorated lounge embracing the wooden beams overhead, complete with a log burning stove and luxurious sofas. The kitchen is super modern and well equipped and the bedrooms are just divine.
Litton is a scenic close-knit limestone village, just outside of Tideswell. You’ll find the green is in the heart of the village, with a collection of cottages, a school, a proper village shop and the local pub surrounding it. Be sure to pack your walking boots, as there is an abundance of local walks radiating in every direction. Head to the dramatic Millers Dale, Cressbrook Dale or even Monsal Dale with its glorious waterfall. With such beautiful scenery, don’t forget to explore the rest of the nearby attractions, such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton with its amazing Opera House, Derwent Valley or pop to Bakewell for a delicious and famous pudding.

We (me, my husband and my Dad) loved staying at Tallan Green Cottage. The house is cosy, warm and comfortable with spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. It's tucked away in a quiet alley but perfectly located almost next door to the Red Lion pub. Will definitely come again.
