It has a rich history and retains ancient local customs such as the annual wakes week with traditional well dressings and the carnival held on the last Saturday of June. We had a lovely week away at Parsley Cottage. Clean and well equipped - we couldn’t have asked for more. Great for cosy nights in and a great nights sleep. The location is great and close to all that Tideswell has to offer - pubs with good food, restaurants and a lovely cafe.Lots of local walks to do without having to drive.

We had a good week at Parsley cottage despite the inclement weather. The cottage was warm, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We did however find the kitchen very small, although it did have everything we needed and the road a little noisy at times. There was a welcome pack which was a nice touch, thank you. We've stayed in Tideswell a few times as we love the fact there are plenty of walks in the area and public transport, which we rely on is good.
