The cottage is super clean, cosy, warm and very well equipped with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The dairy is situated in a beautiful spot, the views are picture perfect. Wendy is a lovely, warm host who made us feel very welcome and just leaves you to enjoy your holiday, but if you need anything she is very helpful. Looking forward to our next visit! However, when we arrived, there were instructions that the dog was not allowed upstairs and if any dog hairs were found upstairs we would be charged for extra cleaning. It also said that the dog was not allowed on the furniture which we agree with anyway, but why werenât these details in the original advert? My friendâs dog has always had her bed at the side of Jâs bed since she was rescued and she found it very unsettling not being able to come upstairs to bed when we went to bed.

Front garden is patio only and wall too low to allow dogs off leads. Paddock is available but dogs can get through the gates. Cleaning looks like its left to the last occupants. Beds very uncomfortable. Owner was ever present, checking up. Even entering the property twice without being invited in! Insisted on checking the property before leaving, for cleanliness. Bit of a cheek considering the amount of cleaning I did when I first got there! Beautifully situated but won't be back.
