South Lodge dates back to 1847 and was designed by well-known architect, S. S. Teulon. After some years of disrepair, the lodge has been restored and once again stands as sentinel to Holkham Hall and The Triumphal Arch on the Holkham Estate.

Our third lodge at Holkham and a really enjoyable week with especially good weather (Palmers Folly for its position amongst the wildlife, South Lodge East for the kitchen and South Lodge West for the bathroom!). Thanks for another lovely bag of goodies, much appreciated and Thank you Marcel for the TV help. Best meal of the week at The Victoria. We hope to be back again.
