The lounge/diner has wood burning stove, perfect to snuggle alongside on any cooler evening. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two double bedrooms, a bunk bedroom, ideal for the kids, and the family bathroom.

Lovely comfortable cottage with everything needed for the stay. Clean tidy and beautiful, quiet location and perfect for exploring the area. Turning into parking area at back is very tight through the archway but fine once through. Kitchen tap had persistent drip and outside light didnt work but that being said would not hesitate to stay here again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfy and clean, ace shower and sunny spot in the garden that was quite sheltered. The kitchen, although small, was very functional, everything worked! We would recommend it for its location, so close to Burnham Market, Creake Abbey, Holkham Hall and beach and the lovely Wells by the sea. Even though there was no pic of the lounge we needn’t have worried! Two new armchairs, a sofa and a table and six chairs. A large ottoman was used for a table to rest a tray on, or extra seated when necessary. All in all a fantastic value for money spot. Enjoyed the Lord Nelson too, four minutes walk away! Perfect

On arrival we were surprised by the fact that we had no view from the back of the house other than a brick wall and shed. The courtyard garden was full of wildflowers between slabs! Unfortunately we had to leave early - on Tuesday - but in fact we were quite glad as the house was cold and there was no way we could alter that. We are in our 80’s and did need a bit more warmth. We sat with a blanket round us!! So I’m very sorry but no we would not recommend Ayers Cottage.
