What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Open Fires In Powys To Rent.
Selina - verified booking
"Lovely cottage but it is next to a military firing range that is used at night as well which is not mentioned in the details. the farm where the cottage is has a lot of dogs that are kept in outside kennels, they bark and howl a lot at night especially when there is firing going on. The cottage is located a long way up a small country lane where there is only 1 way in and out so to get anywhere is a 20 minute drive before you can turn off. Local amenities are 10 miles away."
Mrs Gill Christy, Southsea, Hampshire - verified booking
"Very peaceful place, well appointed with several luxurious touches like the outdoor hot tub and wet room. Lots of birdlife. Good bright and airy cottage which meant it was delightful to spend time there and walk from the front door into the wilds. We came for Wonderwool Wales Fibre festival at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth, with a view to spending a few days afterwards spinning and knitting our purchases, and it was ideal for this."
Mr Ben White, Hinckley, Choose a State - verified booking
"Such a unique location! The water comes from a well and is ceramic filtered. Whilst bathing in the hot tub you can watch the Red Kites circling over the beautiful valley hills either side. Beautiful scenery all around with waterfalls and walks! The cottage is beautifully finished with a large log burner and gorgeous spiral staircase. The wet room is also lovely! The owner is very friendly and helped out on walking routes and map reading."
Mrs Molsher-Berry, Chesterfield, Derbyshire - verified booking
"Fabulous place! The cottage is a very high standard, and the owner was very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Sitting in the hot tub watching the Red Kites and Swallows during the day and shooting stars when it got dark was the most relaxing thing you could ever do! We will certainly be recommending this cottage and will certainly be returning."
Mr Deke Bramley, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire - verified booking
"Fantastic location with an absolute gem of a cottage in the middle! Stunning views in every direction and endless paths and tracks to walk the dogs and a family size hot tub to relax in after! Very friendly and helpful owners, would definitely recommend this property to walkers, dog owners and anyone who wants a relaxing break! "
