Beautifully cosy with brilliant open rooftop views - best of both worlds. The heating is simple to operate, and the cottage holds the heat well, important with the miserable recent weather. The parking in invaluable although I did not use my car in my whole fortnight stay, getting the buses instead which are free to me as a pensioner. I recommend the salmon, hot and cold smoked at Cley and Brancaster Staithe, and the excellent little green grocer in Wells that does spectacular fresh delicious fruit and vegetables generous prices.

I was mostly satisfied with the property. Just a few minor things that would have made the stay complete. The doors were difficult to lock and we had a maintenance person call unexpectedly. Luckily we happen to be in the cottage, otherwise it would have been a wasted journey for him. The shower on off mechanism was extremely hard to use. The garden gate was not aligned, so it took two to push and bolt the gate. On a positive note the beds were comfortable and the cottage was very clean.

Coronation Cottage has a really welcoming atmosphere and we felt at home straight away. Our dog really did not want to leave. Although it is only minutes from the High Street the area is very quiet and the home owners we met were very friendly and helpful. We were really lucky with the weather so the lovely garden was a real bonus. We really appreciated the parking space too as there are not many small properties in Wells next the Sea with parking nearby.

Perfectly located for all the town amenities, the beach and bus stops just outside from where you can travel the length of North Norfolk and some way inland. And you can park right outside the cottage and then forget about the car. Everything worked perfectly. Nice hot water and instant heating. And so peaceful despite being close to other properties and the road. You hear nothing at night! This was my second booking and I hope it was not my last.

Lovely cottage in a great location within the town - easy to get everywhere. Useful visitors’ information provided by the owner, and supplemented by comments in the visitor book. Some of the more popular restaurants get full quickly so booking as soon as you can is essential as we get further into the holiday season, and if like us you’re only there for a long weekend consider booking before you even get there! Would certainly go back again.
