Although we have visited the North Norfolk Coast many times, this was the first stay. We investigated Holkham and the cottage provided the perfect base for that. Perfect for a couple and all as expected from the descriptions and even in late May we made use of the wood stove, nice !

A wonderful (and much needed) escape from the 'real' world! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Folly - so snug and intimate (especially with the glass toilet door!!). We ate at The Anchor & The Hoste - taxis were a challenge but we got there in the end (although they may very well be driving The Estate trying to find their way out!). The deer on the Estate were magnificent and we loved hiking through the grounds and walking on Holkham Beach. We always love coming to Norfolk but this was a extra special experience. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
