On the surface the lodge looked very clean.
I opened the kitchen cupboard to put some of our own supplies away and had to clean it out first. It was only crumbs but proved it wasnât wiped over from the last occupant. On opening the fridge I found a very mouldy block of soft cheese. Donât know how long it had been there. I would say a good deep clean is needed in the lodge. Grubby throughout, nothing that a good couple of hours wouldnât sort out. The veranda with a table and no chairs ?? I also had to sweep the floor as I struggled to sit looking at all the dirt and cobwebs. The bedroom. Please please put up blackout blind. Even with an eye mask itâs still bright. I saw a super nanny trick years ago. Damp your window and cover with tin foil. Tried it and it works great but I should have to waste tin foil in this way. Overall it was a good stay unfortunately the weather wasnât the best but didnât dampen our stay. It was well equipped so I would give that 5 stars but would recommend a good deep clean. Towels. Please upgrade to bath sheets. Also maybe in the summer months put on a summer duvet not a winter one. Decent location the site bar and out door area were good no complaints there. I would say and this is mainly a parkdean complain but it needs to be more honest when saying the beach is only a short walk away. It really should tell you about the very deep hill to get to the beach. I would say if you are there with kids, buggy etc it makes it very difficult accessing the beach. Something I wouldnât do again. Overall it was a decent week away.

The holiday lodge was very clean, tastefully furnished and very well equipped.
It is located in a nice, quiet spot with the park facilities are all in walking distance. The booking process was easy and arrival instructions were excellent. We were delighted with the space and comfort the lodge gave us and with the ramp and walk in shower it was perfect for my elderly mum and aunty with her little dog. The welcome bottle of wine and chocolates were a lovely gesture. We arranged a grocery delivery for the arrival evening which meant we could stock the fridge freezer and gave us the option of eating in to stay Covid safe if we wanted. Being so well equipped made that easy. The lodge was warm and comfortable. Whatever the weather it is perfect. There is a lovely patio with comfortable seating for warm sunny days and heating and a fire if itâs chilly and you want to snuggle up with a good book or watch one of the 3 televisions! I loved the fact that the Cleveland Way was so close and provides a fantastic coastal walk with great scenery. Our original holiday plans have been disrupted due to Covid19 but this holiday gave us time to relax, explore the area and live comfortably and well in a quality holiday home. Thank you!!

Wow what a lovely lodge you have.
Having always stà yed in caravans this was a lovely change. Two little ducks is like a home from home. With all you could need and more. Located in a quiet area it was nice friend people around. My daughter 8 made alot of friends and they played for hours on the green area behind the caravans opposite. We took advantage of the kitchen every morning and evening cooking meals, the only thing i would say is the lodge could do with some non stick pans or even an air fryer. The little extras were a great adition, i spent the week doing the jigsaws and my children playing cards. We did take advamtage of the ammenities on the park, going in the showbar every night to emjoy the entertainment, the girls enjoyed alot of the on site activities too. Only thing we had trouble with was getting sky to work, but thabkfully we could enjoy netflix. We have loved it so much we have already booked again for next year we cannot wait to return. Thank you for making our holiday the best we have had!

Absolutely amazing!
!!! There isn't one thing they haven't thought about when designing this little gem! (Foxes den) From the outside to the inside it's truly stunning! Owners so so helpful and friendly and we loved reading there story it's admirable. It was so calm and peaceful but only a £9 taxi ride to the sea front of Scarborough if you want to liven it up. The garden area and hot tub was beautiful specially on a night when it was all lit up. Inside the cabin it was well equipped with everything you would need, hair dryer, tea towel, washing up supplies plenty of cutlery, pans and pots. The TV has netflix and all other streaming apps too which was handy for a chilled night in. All the fairy lights in and around the cabin are such a beautiful touch, it really was a wonderful experience and we will 100% be returning! Thank you so much x

Disaster from arriving.
Key safe wouldn't open, had to fetch maintenance to get us in. Main bed mattress was stained and grubby, toilet seat loose, 2 cupboard panels cracked, food left in fridge and freezer and main television had a life of its own eg not switching on, then when on not changing channels, reported this 2 or 3 times and maintenance came to sort it, but still the same. All these been reported before, nothing done. Also net curtains across patio doors ripped in places and roughly sown in others, there was also a pile of external cushions and parasol stacked in corner of lounge. The last 2 complaints not previously reported. It may seem I am nitpicking but we have been 3 times in last 2 years to this lodge and given glowing reviews but not this time. Left early and will not be returning.
