What our customers say about their holidays

    • Rebecca - Verified booking

It was a fantastic stay and the welcome pack was amazing to help us get started meaning we could relax after a long drive.

We loved our stay throughout. It is unfortunate that staff on the park are not so helpful. The woof park would be an amazing part of the park to allow the dogs a little freedom however this was overgrown with weeds and lots of rubbish however park deans staff did not want to know. On arrival my phone was not working please make sure you download a park map before arriving as we found reception staff again did not want to help with there response “you haven’t booked through us we can’t help” we did also struggle for tv and sky signal during our stay however this did not impact us as we use catch up and spend long periods in the evenings out exploring with the dogs. These were the only negatives and felt the owners really care about their caravan as it was immaculate

      Beautiful, spacious and clean.

The lodge is placed in a quiet area of the park but within easy walking distance of the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (helped by the glorious weather we were lucky enough to have). The outside seating area was perfect for our long hot sunny days. Our dog loved being able to see people passing and we were happy that he was secure on the wraparound veranda. Very well equipped kitchen, Comfortable beds. Plenty of space in the walk-in wardrobes. We were there during the Euro 2024 football tournament so watched the TV more than we normally would. The TV in lounge had occasional signal problems but the TV in main bedroom worked fine, and so did WiFi, so could watch matches on our iPads if we wanted to. Had a great relaxing holiday!

Overall, we enjoyed the accommodation and location.

However, there were a number of things that weren't up to scratch that I would like the owner to know, especially if they are paying someone to manage this for them: - the cleaning was poor with dirty food wrappers found under the furniture - the en-suite showered seal has come away and the doors don't close meaning water sprays out all over the bathroom - the shower head bracket over the bath has come loose meaning the shower can't be used unless you hold it - there was no cheese grater or even a tin opener? - outside furniture needs a refresh as cushions ripped and generally tired - an additional cost for use of the facilities was a shock at £180 for the week! The advert should more explicit about this.

Sam and Phil quick to act on a boiler problem when we arrived, said they would be there in a hour.

Great service. Thank you. The lodge kitchen, dining and sitting area is spacious, bright, clean and comfortable, King bed quite firm but comfy. Showers good. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk so the kettle on immediately, also wine and chocolates. Great area for sitting outside. Very secure for our little dog. Although we didn’t need all the park facilities they looked fab for children and the whole family. The site seemed busy with lots of cars parked up but the position of this lodge was very quiet, lovely to see all the little rabbits happily running around. Beautiful beach, and walks on the cliffs. All in all a great 4 days. Thank you again Sam and Phil.

The property was lovely, clean and spacious.

The welcome pack was a lovely addition and welcomed after a long drive. We were really impressed with the property and will be booking again. The sites activities were good and the entertainment was enjoyed by all the family. There was no mention on the sykes page that we would have to purchase entertainment passes, that could be amended to stop any future confusion. The key to the property was in a key safe, but may need looking at as it was quite difficult to remove from the lock. All in all we had a lovely stay and a well needed break.
