We have an exciting relaunched cafe/bar on the premises and is open from 10am-8pm weekdays and 9.30am-4pm weekends. We are liscenced and have a great Pizza menu served from 3pm-8pm weekdays, no need to book just rollup and enjoy!

Good sized lodge, and nice and cosy in the autumn weather. The lodges are right next to a busy 60mph road, so it was very noisy most of the time, but there's not much they can do about that. There was a terrible smell of drains outside of the lodge when we arrived, then by the next morning, the smell was in both bathrooms and disgusting. We contacted the owner, who said he'd get someone out to check it, but by the time we had left it still stank. The lodge is ill equipped for a family of 4. The kitchen had 4 knives/forks etc and 4 plates/bowls, which is not enough. Location is good for visiting local towns, we went to Scarborough, York, Whitby and Pickering. All within a 45 mins drive.

The lodge was nice. Stayed a couple of days with my sister and it was good to have our own rooms with en suites which were lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub too.Unfortunately though there were some negatives. The lodge is a little tired. TV in the living room didn’t work very well. TV in the double bedroom not working at all. Wi-fi not great. Boiler could be a little noisy. I’m mentioning these things really just in case the owner isn’t aware of them.But if I’m honest the main issue for me was the road noise. I didn’t realise it was next to a busy road when I booked it and I do feel that Hoseasons should make people aware of this fact - I am sure some wouldn’t be bothered by it like I am. Overall I’m afraid I don’t think it quite hits the mark in terms of luxury.We didn’t have any dealings with staff so I can’t give a mark for this.

Enjoyed, would go again, a couple of niggles but nothing to spoil our holiday. More crockery etc. could be provided rather than the exact number. A few things were a little tired and needed fixing, but nothing which spoilt our weekend away.
