Snaptrip says

Kaitkyella Lodge is highly praised for its stunning views, particularly from the hot tub, and its cleanliness. Guests appreciate the property's spaciousness and modern decor, as well as the convenience of the on-site tea rooms and butchers. While some guests mention noise from nearby events and a desire for more kitchen equipment, the overall sentiment is that the lodge offers a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the lodge to be spotlessly clean, with only a few minor comments about floors and sofas. The high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The location is frequently described as stunning, with beautiful countryside views and proximity to Scarborough. Despite some comments about noise from nearby events, the location is generally considered ideal for exploring the area.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and well-furnished rooms. The hot tub adds to the comfort level, although there are suggestions for more kitchen amenities and better storage.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the hot tub and on-site amenities like the tea rooms and butchers. However, guests noted the lack of a freezer, washing machine, and sufficient kitchenware, which affects the score.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Overall a very nice cottage in a lovely setting, very well presented and as described except there is no fire, crockery could do with replacing but otherwise a very pleasant stay

I just felt it was lacking extra towels for the hot tub only having 2 for a week and sharing it with hot tub and shower especially when you have shower before hot tub and after, no robes or outside shoes again most I have visited supply these as walking through the property with wet feet. Lack of kitchen supplies, no welcome hamper which again first time I have had nothing, milk or bread would of been nice to keep us going. No spare bin bags and no instructions on where to place rubbish, only one bin outside but 2 recyclable inside? No hand soap in the bathroom but moisturiser? Upstairs remote blinds batteries not working in the remote control. 2 other controls on the fireside but nothing to say for what? Fire mentioned in description on Sykes info but no fire.
