"We have recently returned from a week in this lovely cottage. The cottage is deceptively large, spacious and extremely clean and it's fully equipped with eveything you could need for your holiday. All the bedrooms are well sized and the furnishings are comfortable and in excellent condition. The welcome pack that greeted us on arrival was a a great touch and included fresh milk, orange juice, butter, yoghurt and black pudding. Essentials like tea and coffee we also provided so we could enjoy welcome refreshment after our journey. The garden is a good size, well maintained and enclosed so that even our houdini hound didn't manage to find any way to escape. The garden furniture was very comfortable, although we didn't get around to trying out the table tennis table or barbeque. The cottage is ideally located to give you easy access to everything in the area around Loch Lomond but far enough from the neareast road to let you forget where you are and enjoy the peace and quiet. The pubs and restaurants in Drymen are excellent and the majority are dog friendly so your canine family members can also enjoy the holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.A&K"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lochside. Everything we needed for our week’s stay was provided including fuel for the wood burner, a lovely welcome pack and all essentials which were of a very good standard and extremely clean. The living area is spacious with comfy furniture, a large television and a good selection of DVDs. The view when having a meal at the dining table was amazing and we were welcomed by a heron most mornings. The two bedrooms are of a good size with more than enough wardrobe and drawers space. A very efficient shower over the bath was very welcome after a long walk, as was the bath itself. Lochside is in a lovely quiet location with fantastic views over Holy Loch and close to fantastic walks but with a pub, cafe and shop within walking distance as well as a service station. Kilmun itself has an arboretum and Benmore Botanic Gardens, Pucks Glen and Glenbranter Waterfall Trail are all short drives away and the scenic Isle of Bute is easily accessible from it.We highly recommend Lochside as a base for a holiday or just a quiet retreat."

"We had a fantastic week at Kilmanorock Cottage, we stayed towards the end of June with our Labrador. The cottage is set in a stunning countryside location down a really long private drive with fields all around. There are Highland cows and horses in the fields around the garden which is really nice. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and really well equipped, the owners have thought of everything you may need for your stay. It is brilliant for dogs too, a large fully enclosed garden and loads of space inside. It is a short drive from the shores of Loch Lomond, everyday we went somewhere different around the Loch, there are some lovely places to visit, again great if you have a dog who loves swimming. Not far from the village of Drymen which has some really good pubs and a couple of shops. We stay in holiday cottages fairly often and this is one of the best! Definitely recommend and would love to visit again!"

"We recently stayed at Lochside whilst up for the Cowal Highland Gathering. The accommodation was very comfortable, spotless and had everything you could possibly think you would need. We visited different parts of the area and the flat was an excellent base for the surrounding areas. Lots to do in the area as much or as little as you choose with so much close by. After two very wet days at the Cowal Games it was lovely to come "home" to dry off and relax. Excellent communication with Dave & Mary our hosts, who made sure we knew to contact them with any difficulties, we were lucky enough not to need them.Highly recommended Lochside and hope to return very soon"

"We had a very pleasant holiday at the cottage which is very well appointed and comfortable. Only about 10 minutes from Dundee city centre, it is still in a quiet, rural location. The owners were very nice and made sure we were happy with our stay. We enjoyed having a wood burning stove with proper instructions on how to actually use the thing. There is also a lovely garden area with plenty of birds to watch and it's dark enough for stargazing, too. It was one of the best stocked cottages we have stayed in for utensils and cooking items and we have stayed in plenty. One downside-the bathroom could get pretty cold! But overall, a very enjoyable time."
