"This is an exceptional cottage with real character, the owners clearly have great taste and this is not your standard sterile holiday cottage. A real find for us dog owners who often miss out on the really classy ones! The super king sized bed is amazingly comfortable and massive with great views from the floor to ceiling windows, a treat in itself. The owners live next door but dont fear they will interfere, they are friendly, welcoming and helpful if needed but totally unobtrusive. There is a great pub just down the lane, very welcoming folk infact you are welcomed like a friend, no hostile stares here! Loggerheads country park is 1.5 miles away and lovely strolls in the woodlands and limestone cliffs. Things that may be good to know : Its in secluded location up private lane/track, can be narrow for a larger vehicle & steep-ish in places. The garden is not enclosed. The area is very hilly (stating the obvious here!) meaning all walks from the cottage are steep and you get a lot of weather! Its quite a drive to the coastal areas. Cottage well equipped and great wifi, only thing I didnt find was a hairdryer but I didnt miss it.We had a lovely stay in special cottage."

"We recently had a long weekend at the Castle for a family celebration. The Castle is the most incredible venue- pictures just can't do this place justice. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the layout of the rooms, furnishing and amenities- it's so comfortable and it's easy to feel really relaxed (and warm) in this huge venue. We had the full property and the Apartment and Suite were great - it also gave some of our guests a bit of extra privacy and space. All the bedrooms were great. The venue is really family friendly, we had a lot of kids and babies. The children in particular had the best time and were so excited about the house. The garden is brilliant with a good sized football pitch and good garden furniture. The owner, Janet, is a really wonderful, thoughtful and laid back host. Communication has been really clear and prompt both via Olivers Travels and direct with the venue. Her recommendations (e.g. Cheeky Chilli Events for catering) were spot on. The location is great for walkers in particular and is really close to the Beach. Prestatyn is close by which is really convenient."

"We had a really lovely 5 days at Bramble Cottage. The lodge is decorated beautifully and really feels like home away from home. We particularly loved the grounds in which the lodge is situated. There were some lovely welcoming touches such as two dishwater tablets, tea, coffee, milk sachets, sugar and coffee biscuits. The lodge is modern, clean and tastefully decorated. There is an abundance of wildlife around and we loved feeding the 6 ducklings and their mum that visited us every morning and evening. This lodge is ideally located for exploring the heart of North Wales. Betws Y Coed, Conwy and Llandudno are all within an hours drive away. The lodge is warm and cosy. The view out on to the lakes is very tranquil. This lodge is ideal for a peaceful break away from thr hustle and bustle of city and town life. We are already planning another stay at Bramble Lodge in March or April 2020. Thank you to Mr & Mrs Wolfe for providing us with a VERY lovely lodge and setting so as we could enjoy our break."

"Lovely! We, (My Husband & I) needed a place to live whilst our own place was being renovated. Luckily, we found this place. The Barn is very spacious which was ideal for us as we had more than just luggage with us. It was very clean, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we had everything else we needed including good wifiTo be honest, we pretty much knew what amenities were around here, as we’re from the area. That said, anybody visiting here should know that this place is very close to anywhere you might want to visit. You’ll be ideally located for exploring North Wales, Cheshire the Wirral and Liverpool Also, Capenhurst railway station is 5 minutes drive away (goes to Chester and Liverpool).Janice & Mike are very accommodating and fully understand what travellers need and their accommodation offering fulfils that completely.Totally recommended!!Wendy"

"This 4 person bungalow had comfortable beds and a view of a field containing two horses from the kitchen. We discovered this was equipped with the barest minimum of everything throughout. 4 plates, 4 spoons, 4 glasses, small towels etc. The place is old fashioned throughout with a slight musty smell and we noticed the walls, wooden doors and the skirting were in need of a decent spring clean. The kitchen/diner was clean but equipped with gold rimmed crockery that cannot be used in the microwave! This was queried with the owner who explained there were 2 bowls and a couple of plastic boxes for the microwave. The information folder needs updating especially as it contains leaflets from 2004/5! The overall impression was that the barest minimum was being provided in every way. We are sad about this as the owners seemed very nice."
