The owner of the property has clearly put a lot of thought into exactly what holiday guests might want. The house is beautifully furnished and really well-equipped. The bathrooms and amenities are modern but still retain the character of this old property. The beds were super comfortable and every little detail has been thought of. The hot tub was wonderful; especially as we didn’t have great weather. It was also good to note that it was emptied and cleaned between visitors - this is something other owners don’t do and as a result we have often had to stop using tubs due to skin irritation from excessive chemical use. No such issues here. Everything about the property was high quality. The welcome pack of local products was also fantastic. The property is centrally located in Holt, which has some great independent shops and eateries. It is also an ideal base for traveling around North Norfolk. We really cannot fault this property, thank you for your attention to detail.

We had a great week at 8 Town Close, and we would definitely return in the future. The bungalow felt like home from home; welcoming, very clean & comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds & great showers. There are some great walks from the doorstep, from short to medium & long walks, with our favourite being across Little Hill Park, through Spout Hills and then following the paths to Letheringsett, and returning the same way rather than using the path alongside a fairly busy road. Holt Country Park is only a 20 minute walk away, and then you can follow whichever route signs depending on the amount of walking you want to do. Holt is great to explore with lots of independent shops, cafes & Bakers & Larners department store is well worth a visit, and especially the delicatessen. Both pubs are dog friendly, as are a lot of the cafes. It was a great weeks holiday, made better by having 8 Town Close to come home to in the afternoon and evening.

What a wonderful cottage. We stayed for a week and spent quite a lot of time lounging around! We never made the hot tub but we will next time! The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen. You want for nothing...apart from a chef! We celebrated 3 birthdays there and it was such a great place to do this. Nothing to do with the cottage but the greengrocer at the end did not warn me( and he could have done) that my car would hit a stone sticking out from his shop that was not visible to the 4 of us in the car. I don't think he's fond of tourists! So just beware of that. We would highly recommend this cottage and are hoping to book it again for the fourth person's birthday!

Holly Cottage is beautifully clean, and exceptionally designed for your every comfort and luxury.Beautiful original art,designer fittings high quality kitchen appliances and a huge tick for interior design.The owners obviously have great taste and are very good at making guests feel welcome.A huge hamper of delicious local food and a bottle of wine was chilling in the fridge on arrival!Nice touch. The enclosed garden of dreams with the hot tub was very a special addition….perfect!!! Holt is a very beautiful town and we happened to visit when an Arts festival was on….independent shops and a great base for visiting the local area. Highly recommend….you will love it!!!!

Cottage is well appointed in centre of Holt with plenty of shops and quant little snickers (yards) to explore. Many places are dog friendly and extremely welcoming including The Feathers which serves good food at reasonable prices. Small garden has an unsecured gate which refuse collection left open so beware if you stay at the cottage with your four legged companions. Stairs to upper floor are very steep indeed. North Norfolk is beautiful with many places to visit including Hillside Animal Sanctuary who really appreciate the publics support. The Albertine is an ideal base to explore from.
