The beautiful North Norfolk Coast is only five miles away, with miles of glorious beaches and Holt Country Park is only half a mile. Both offer lovely walking and good bird watching. For those keen to explore the area by bike, cycle hire is available. There are many places of interest and things to do in the local area, and the fine city of Norwich is only 20 miles away, offering opportunities for sightseeing and great shopping. Many attractions can be found within a 25-mile radius, including Blickling Hall, Holkham Hall, Wells Harbour and the beautiful beaches and pier at Cromer. Shops and pub 0.25 miles.

My young daughter and I stayed for a girls trip and had a great time! The cottage is small and cosy and has everything you need. Small things you may easily forget, are there, which is so helpful. And if it's not there, there is a supermarket a small walk/drive away. We both also slept like logs. The walk to town is lovely, the town itself has so much character. Highly recommend the Owl tearoom for lunch. We realised we were a bit too early for the seal boat trips, but a visit to sealife in hunstanton helped us get our seal fix. :) We'll remember this cottage, as we'd love to return and see more of Norfolk. :)
