"This was a lovely holiday rental. The house was beautifully furnished, and looked like it had been recently renovated so was very modern, clean and comfortable. The house had everything we needed, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas in the living room and a lovely garden with tables and chairs. The location is excellent, very close to Bewdley town centre, which has lots of shops and places to eat. I would also recommend a nice walk along the river where you can feed the ducks and watch the rowing boats. However, the house is at the top of a steep, long hill, which doesn't have a footpath down the whole way, so not ideal if you are less mobile. We had our toddler daughter with us, so we didn't attempt to walk down the hill to get in to the town and instead decided to drive. First thing in the morning this was fine and it was easy to find a parking space, but if you hit rush hour or late afternoon then the roads do get quite congested. Parking at the property was fine, it is on street and first come first served, but we always managed to find a spot and mostly right outside the front door. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. Just a note if you are bringing a travel cot with you - it won't fit in the smaller twin room but there is plenty of space in the double room. The house is also really close to local attractions such as the Severn Valley Railway, West Midlands Safari Park and Wyre Hill, where you can do the Gruffalo Trail. We had a great time at this property and would definitely come again and recommend to others."

"One of the main reasons we booked this cottage was because of the "secure garden" for our dog, unfortunately within minutes of arriving our dog had easily escaped from the garden and was on the road that is directly outside the grounds, the allocated courtyard garden is not secure for dogs and it needs some work to make it so. The seats in the garden are low standard plastic chairs, of which two of the four were broken, as was the table. The cottage itself is very nice and has a bright and airy feel to it, everything you need for self catering is provided, however I do not think it is practical for more than two adults. The only seating in the living area is two sofa beds, these are very uncomfortable and they are not suitable for frequent use. Other reviewers have commented on the cattle grid outside the property disturbing their sleep and I have to agree with them, it is directly outside the bedroom window just above your head as you lay in bed and vehicles start rattling across it from around 5:30 a.m. The nice touches that we have become used to when we book a cottage holiday were missing, there was no welcome pack in fact there was no welcome, as the owners were busy getting ready to go away for the weekend, we were made to feel like bit parts.I'm sorry but I would not recommend this property."

"I stayed in The Coracle with my daughter for some quality mother and daughter time away. We had a wonderful time! Ironbridge Gorge was fabulously beautiful with so much to see and do; it was so nice to park the car in the convenient secure car park for the duration of our stay and walk instead. The cottage was very sweet. It was very small but so well equipped with everything we needed, and a super comfy bed. We received a very thoughtful welcome basket on arrival when we collected the key from the pork pie shop (excellent pies and sausage rolls which we could smell baking in the mornings). The gentleman was friendly and we felt very welcome. We didn't realise when we booked that we would also have use of the beautifully well kept and pretty garden; a real treat in the evenings to sit out and have our meals out there. The location is excellent, being almost directly opposite the ironbridge itself. Couldn't fault it, it was really superb."

"Comfortable, cosy, clean and easy to manage. Nice and warm with simple to operate heating. Sofas and beds were comfy too, and the shower was a breeze to work. The cottage offered everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. When we had a few tech problems, the owners were on hand to help. Bewdley town is a lovely traditional town with as beautiful riverside where everyone is very friendly and helpful. The fruit and veg shop is terrific, the tourist man in the museum couldn't have been more helpful. The town is less than five minutes walk down the hill but the climb up is taxing although there's a bus service if needed. A real bonus is that two doors away is a wonderful traditional proper community pub that's homely and welcoming - and serves a first-class pint of beer. Cheers to 48 Wyre Hill."
