What our customers are saying about our Summer Holiday Cottages In Bodmin To Rent.

"we chose this cottage over another one as it had a four star rating, and also had wifi. It doesn't qualify for four stars more like two, the wifi was terrible and slow, we lost electrics twice and the fuse board could only be accessed in the cottage next door. The towels provided were not up to standard they looked as if they were used for cleaning the dog. The sofa was grubby and very small, no other furniture to sit on. It smells of damp and one of the light switches had what looked like water running out of it and had a rust coloured stain around it. The bed and pillows were hard and lumpy. There was no stairgate, so we could stop the dogs from going upstairs,as advertised. All the hot water is controlled from the cottage next door as that is where the boiler is situated. The basin tap upstairs spun around when used and water was constantly running in the toilet basin. Overall it was a very uncomfortable cottage to stay in."

"We have just returned from a lovely week in Rosemary Cottage. The cottage was clean comfortable and well equipped. There is a lovely walk that we found for our dogs. Turn right out of the drive and then turn left down the lane, you will come across a stream, cross that (you need flip flops) and bear to the left to follow the stream. So cool and peaceful in this hot weather. Be warned some of the lanes are very very narrow, all lined with stone walls so be careful of your cars. The cottage has a great BBQ which we used several times. We would definitely recommend and return to Rosemary Cottage."

"An excellent holiday cottage set in a village just outside Bodmin. This is a very good location for visiting villages on the North or South coasts - listen to local radio to find out which coast has the best weather! Eden and the Lost Garden at Heligon are both only a few miles away. Port Isaac (home of "Doc Martin") is well worth a visit - don't miss out on the coffee at the old chapel art gallery, probably the best coffee we have ever tasted! If you are into gardens, and are visiting in the Spring, we can recommend Caerhays Castle where there is the National Collection of Magnolias."

"We found the cottage very well equipped, clean and comfortable. central heating was included, and plenty of windows to open on the hotter days! parking for one (sensible sized) car. The road outside is quiet, only school traffic (term time) to the free car park opposite, and the occasional tractor. The cottage is only a short drive from Bodmin town centre, and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Camel trail, or station (Boscarne Junction) for the steam railway.Access to the A30 is about half a mile, making touring the county really easy.Had a great week, and will be returning next year..."

"A lovely cottage situated next to the river and a 600 year old very narrow bridge. It would have been ideal but for the fact that the narrow lane passing the property was used, on a daily basis, as a "rat run" for commuters travelling -often at dangerously high speeds- between the B3266 and the A30 and trying to avoid congestion in Bodmin. On one occasion we came within a second of being wiped out by a boy racer speeding across the bridge at more than 40 mph. For this reason alone we consider it far to dangerous to return to this cottage."
