What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Glasbury To Rent.

"We stayed here over new year. The cottage was well located and close to places to visit we went to Hay on Wye, Leominster and Brecon all well worth a visit. We received a warm welcome and good food at the Harp Inn which is with easy walking distance. The cottage itself is pretty and very chocolate box looking with a well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. We do have a couple of little niggles though. It said in the info that initial fuel for the fire is included, we arrived late on in very thick freezing fog - we tried to light the fire but there was no kindling or fire lighters so we could not get it lit. We also forgot our milk, luckily there were some small pots of milk in the cottage but when we came to use them they were off. There were also quite a lot of cob webs about and the glass in the fire was so black you couldn't see it ... so we ended up cleaning it ourselves. Bit of a shame."

"The house was beautiful as was the location. It was clean, warm very spacious and comfortably furnished. There were only 3 of us staying although it sleeps 8, even then there would be lots of space for everyone. We couldn't fault it. Our only tiny complaint is that there was no mention in the details of the extremely generous welcome 'goodies' (bread, eggs, welsh cakes, milk, strawberry jam and crisps) and tea towels, washing up liquid, soap in all the basins etc which meant that we took items with us which were unnecessary. (Hardly a criticism!) We had a lovely time exploring the local area then coming back to our fabulous accommodation. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in their property."

"The cottage is in a beautiful location on the Wye and we had a lovely week here. Hay on Wye is about a 10 minute drive away and we spent some great days there. Most other attractions though are within a 45-60 mins drive away which wasn't great for us with a small baby. The cottage is very spacious, the garden is beautifully kept and the beds really comfortable. The only downside for us was that the cleaners turned up at 9.45am on our leaving day which made us feel a bit under pressure as we were finishing packing. If more time is needed to clean the cottage then the advertised leaving time should be made earlier. These are only minor things though and I would definitely recommend this cottage."

"S43091 was wonderfully situated, backing onto the Begwyns and with glorious views from all the rooms of the Black Mountains. It was quiet and peaceful, and surrounded by wildlife which made for interesting spotting. The property was spacious enough to accommodate a family of 7 and allow us to be together, in groups or separate as we wished, although we often congregated in the cosy kitchen around the Rayburn. There was plenty of food storage space, with two fridges and a freezer, ample cooking equipment and a much-used washing machine and dryer - home from home, in short. We loved sitting up in bed in the morning with a cuppa and just gazing out at the spectacular views!"
