Snaptrip says

The Orchard is a highly praised cottage, celebrated for its peacefulness, stunning views, and spacious, well-equipped interiors. Guests relish the tranquillity, comfort, and the enclosed grounds that are perfect for pets. The local area offers a quaint village experience, though planning is advised due to variable shop hours. The property's remote location is ideal for those seeking a serene getaway.

Guests that stayed at this property said

There is insufficient information in the reviews to accurately assess the cleanliness of the property, as specific comments on this aspect are lacking.

The location is highly praised for its isolation, peace, and beautiful views. The remoteness is appreciated for relaxation and the proximity to local amenities in Knighton is noted, despite some concerns about shop opening hours.

Guests have highlighted the comfortable beds, spaciousness, and the overall high standard of the property. The presence of underfloor heating and a large bathroom adds to the luxurious feel.

The property is well-equipped with quality furniture, kitchen appliances, and a BBQ. However, one review suggests that maintenance and cleaning between stays could be improved, slightly reducing the score.

While guests have expressed great satisfaction with their stay, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to score this category.

I feel it needs a little TLC and the cleaning between hirings needs a litttle more attention. However, this was a minor thing that would result in a perfect score if addressed. I would judge that a nervous driver would be stressed negotiating the road from the pub to the cottage. Overall - We had a great time and would come back again when revisiting this part of Wales.

I can't rate it enough, it's roomy, and very light and airy, and the underfloor heating so welcome. Every room was colour co-ordinated and decorated to a very high standard. The bathroom was to die for, I felt as if I was in a 5 star hotel! The kitchen is very well equipped, and the poppy themed crockery very apt, as we were there on Remembrance Sunday. It's very remote, which made it so relaxing, there are no street lights, and almost zero traffic, great for star gazing. The Greyhound Inn at the bottom of the road was very welcoming, and the Co-op in Knighton is an experience no one should miss. We will certainly book again, maybe in the summer, so we can enjoy sitting outside to enjoy the view.
