What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Eardington To Rent.

"The cottage was well equipped, comfortable but a little tired looking. The patio area outside the back was looking very unkempt and although I appreciate it was winter time, could have been kept a lot cleaner and tidier. Although we knew that there was no Wi-fi at the property, what we did not know was that it was in a ‘dip’ which meant there was no mobile phone service (Vodafone). It was important for us to keep in touch with family and with very elderly parents, it was important that we could be contacted in an emergency. This was not possible which meant we had to drive out every day in order to get a signal to contact family. The cottage also advertises a full sky package but sky cinema is not available so we could not access sky movies. We spent the first day of our break trawling Telford stores to try and find a way of setting up something to give us access to the outside world ie a cable to give us Wi-fi or a signal booster for the phone, (as this is what the property owner told us he uses in his property next door) to no avail, apparently you cannot use a signal booster without Wi-fi. We feel that people should know when staying at this property that there is no level of communication from the property (on Vodafone). I can’t comment on other networks but I think people should be aware that they may be completely cut off at this property."

"We had a family gathering (8 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs) to celebrate a 70th birthday. We loved the spaciousness of the property - the beds were comfortable and it was spotlessly clean.Being a historic listed building, there was not the level of "luxury" one might get in other places, but perfectly adequate. The older children used the internet service extensively, though this was subject to speed restrictions, which caused some frustration. The outdoor table-tennis was a surprise - and we had the beautiful weather to use it.We were pleased that our visit coincided with one of the 6 days a year when the NT part of the house was open to the public - a real bonus. The road access had rather a lot of potholes, but this is not unexpected in a farm track."

"Great cottage where we stayed with friends for a few Best days in February. Best equipped kitchen with working oven and good quality pans. Plenty of crockery, realistic for the number of guests the cottage accommodates. Be aware though, that if you have the under cupboard lights on, the bread in the bread bin will toast!Nice location, down a lane, with walks from the door, as well as the nearby Malvern hills; close to supermarkets in Malvern; nearby city of Worcester offers plenty of interest and entertainment. All in all very homely. Not as many games or puzzles as in some places, but plenty of books. Can't comment on the main tv as it didn't go on! Nor on local eating places as we cooked for ourselves. Would happily come here again."

"Peaceful and well located for Ludlow and the surrounding area. The kitchen was well equipped, cottage quaint and it was value for money for the 4 of us. Outside space was lovely and we took advantage of this by having 2 barbecues and sat outside in the evenings. The one thing that spoiled this was several piles of dog excrement, especially close to the outside seating area. There's also a children's play equipment so if anyone was playing ball, it would probably ruin someones shoes. As this is pet free accommodation, we could only assume it's a residents pet. On the whole we would stay again, but someone needs to clean up after their dog!"

"We had a lovely weekend staying here. We hit a very cold weekend in March and the large farmhouse was lovely and warm but the lounge was quite draughty. It would help to have curtains up at all windows. There was just one window without curtains. We also suffered a power cut and although this was quite common for the area there was only one torch. As it caters for large groups it would have been helpful for additional torches or battery candle lights. The house was generally well equipped.Directions to find the house were good and the owner easily contacted. He was happy to give information regarding local area."
