What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Carreghofa To Rent.

"Fantastic for our needs; wanted a centrally located place to explore from with 2 nine year olds and an eleven year old. Loads of activities a short car journey (less than an hour) away. Climbed Snowdon, fishing, paddling in river, Fforest park, kayaking on lake Bala to name but a few. The house was great, well equipped, comfortable, clean and plenty of room (mind your head on the beams if you are in the upstairs bedroom!). Owners very nice and we appreciated the small gifts on arrival. Bala has pretty much everything you need - pubs, curry house, co-op etc. Local pub is a short walk and apparently does good food, although we did not eat there. A keeper for me and I hope to return in the future on a similar type of holiday!"

"We rented this cottage as old friends who were at college together, an annual reunion. It was the perfect location for this, we were able to walk locally and to explore the wider area by car. We went to th local pub (the Eagle) to eat one night and had a warm welcome and a hearty meal of local lamb. The weather was mixed but did not bother us, November after all! There were a few minor niggles: we struggled with lighting the ovens and grill: there was a lack of bedside lights downstairs : the beds were a bit on the hard side : an ovenglove and dish cloth would have been useful.Otherwise fine. we loved the wood burner yet the weather was so mild that we hardly needed it."

"Absolutely wonderful. What a lovely cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break. Close to Bala lake, Harlech beach and Barmouth which are all amazing. Cottage itself was clean apart from a few high up cobwebs on the beams that are difficult to reach. It was cosy, warm and comfortable. Beds are good and linen smelt clean and fresh. Blankets where provided if extra warmth is needed but this was not required. Owners left a bottle of wine, cake, milk and flowers for our arrival which was a lovely touch. This cottage has everything for a family get away, would recommend and visit again. Rate this cottage 5*."

"Lovely clean and cozy newly refurbished to a very high standard. First time we have used Wales Cottages Holidays - The property was fantastic. Very homely and fully equipped. The owners very welcoming. The 'annexe' is newly refurbished and really cosy. The bed needs a mention - huge with beautiful linen and the views are stunning. We love Wales - this location is perfect for exploring around. If you enjoy getting away from it all yet being close enough to get around this place will suit you well. Perfect."

"Tony and Noreen are great hosts, greeting us on our arrival and giving us a tour of the lovely cottage where we stayed. The cottage is immaculate and very spacious for a couple, with all the equipment you need. Although you are in the grounds of Tony and Noreen's house, they were very discreet, and there is a fantastic little patio area to the side, where we sat, privately, and enjoyed the spectacular views over the Cambrian hills. Caersws is a great base for exploring the countryside around and about."
