"The house itself is beautiful and set within easy reach of lovely walks and some fantastic restaurants. No issues on arrival, though the entrance gate is after a very sharp and steep corner and opens slowly, so be sure your hand brake is working well. We felt the house was equipped for 4 rather than 6 (4 coat hooks, limited room on boot racks, very cramped dining area with 6 people, 2 x 2 seater sofas in the lounge). Cooking for 6 wasn't made easy with the kitchen equipment provided - eventually found a larger saucepan buried in a cupboard in the hall. No salt in the grinder, the masher handle was broken, one of the non stick pans was in poor condition (no wonder given the metal spatulas provided) and the glasses provided were far from adequate. There were only 2 mismatched low glass tumblers in the cupboard. When I spoke to Nicky to request more, she tersely informed me that these were not part of the provided glassware and that a previous guest must have left bought and left them (wonder why!!). So my Mother in Law had to drink a G&T in a wine glass. Similar customer service experience when enquiring about a poker for the fire, which I was informed wasn't necessary. We appreciate that it's a old cottage with no double glazing but there was a lot of condensation and mould growth around the windows which wasn't helpful for allergies. The master bedroom has a great view and ensuite with a good strength shower, though there is no door separating it from the bedroom which really isn't ideal. The 2nd bedroom has a tiny but functional ensuite."

"More than we could of ever wished for. On booking the cottage was just in the area we wished to be and to be honest I never appreciated the Class of this place that came on arrival. Location 100% for beautiful walks from the door (British Camp just being one) we could of easily stayed for a month and never get bored or tired with the cottage and views which change daily. The cottage is in a magical special setting with 5 * reccomendation from us we are not used to this sort of luxury en-suite rooms etc so still went for the master bedroom with en-suite but used the general bathroom :).Boot room was used daily when going out for walks made life easier even though we had dry and sunny weather all week it still was the favoured option. In the rainy days this is the option to kick your boots off and clean down the dog to relax in the cottage.I can't think of one thing that I would change the owners definately know what they are doing. many lovely places to visit apart from walking one was Perrycroft gardens which was open to the public during our stay lovely and well worth it if you get the chance, Great Malvern and Ledbury are also very nice and we walked to both via Hills and footpaths. I could go on forever but want to leave some hidden surprises for you to visit. We had a magic holiday and will definately return.Elaine, Jim, Eysla (Dog)"

"beautiful secluded garden allowed us to make the most of the fine weather . A relaxing time for all interspersed with trips to nearby towns. Found a couple of really good pubs fairly close with good homemade food and a good selection of ales. The property has 3 double bedrooms, 2 with en-suite facilities. The room my wife and I shared was pleasant but 'bijou' to say the least. Likewise the en-suite was a tight fit, but never the less very clean and fully functional. The other two bedrooms were both of a good size and also the family bathroom. In our view the property did not have a wide enough range of glasses for a party of 6. We were only 4 so were not too worried. The entrance to the driveway is a bit tricky to negotiate, particularly when first arriving. After following the provided directions, I missed the entrance when driving down the hill. Once I realised my error and had turned around and driven up the hill it was easy to see why, a tall hedge encloses the front garden but also hides the entrance gate. The 'slip off' to the gate from the road is short but very steep; the electric gates activate slowly so make sure your handbrake is in good order."

"S16368 is in a beautiful location and is a delightful cottage. However there were a number of shortcomings. It had one king size bed (good) and two 'small' doubles (bad). The 'small' doubles were not big enough for two normal size adults to get a decent night's sleep. There were three bath/shower rooms (good) and only half a roll of toilet paper in each. There was a small dishwasher (fine) and one dishwasher tablet per day -for five adults m(inadequate). The kitchen equipment was lacking - very difficult to cook a meal for five adults with a meagre number of pots, pans etc. The directions were minimal - not everyone has a sat nav. The 'welcome pack' for a luxury cottage consisted of a packet of standard tea bags, some instant coffee, a packet of biscuits and a pint of milk. A good job we took our own food but then, as above, had difficulty in cooking it. We were 15 minutes late in leaving the property on departure day and had the comment from the 'owner' 'caretaker' 'cleaner' who was waiting for us that we 'Had only paid until 1000 am and should be out by that time'."

"We had a great time at S16368, which is very well kept...though the outdoor sitting area needed power washing as it was a bit slippy in the wet. Fortunately that was only the case on the day we arrived and for the rest of the week we enjoyed sitting outdoors in the sun.Standards indoors were very high although two of the double beds were rather soft- depends what you like I guess. Otherwise bedding etc very good quality. Good storage.Bathrooms were lovely and modern. Sitting room is spacious and comfortable. Dining room and kitchen tables would be hard pushed to seat six though and could do with more crockery/large saucepans especially if there were six people. The very high trees around may make it dark in the winter."
